TWK Ghost in use for A Post Summer Solitary Reverie of a Rave, a video directed by Sebastian Vargas and produced by Kairos Studio, showcasing the eponymous 2021 summer collection designed by Rafael Kouto. The titles designed by Jahn Koutrios feature an early version of TWK Ghost by Nolan Paparelli combined with lettering by Ania Pravorotskaya.

Rafael Kouto’s contemporary collection titled “A post summer solitary reverie of a rave”, focuses on the escapist daydream of post-pandemic freedom. Trippy patterns, psychedelic and acid prints, reveal a journey into the realm of liberation, self-expression and unconditional togetherness. Rafael Kouto explores the revival of the rave with his new upcycled collection: merging African and Western influences with a psychedelic twist. Rafael Kouto, the Swiss upcycling couture brand, released this limited edition collection titled in collaboration with the Zurich Silk Association. This collection doubles as a cultural project, aiming to preserve the authentic “savoir faire” of the Swiss fashion and textile industry by situating it in an international and contemporary context. The garments of this capsule collection are crafted using upcycled silk from the textile archive of the Zurich Silk Association ‘Zürcherische Seidenindustrie Gesellschaft’, an association of active and former companies in the Zurich silk industry and one of the oldest business associations in Switzerland.

Villanelle is used for the titles of the music video for “Hills” by Le Ciel Noir. The video was directed by the talented Javier Lara, and Studio Aufheben from Murcia, Spain, designed the titles. The band name is set in Snell Roundhand, and credits use Helvetica and Serifbabe.

Villanelle is an experimental display typeface designed to feel unpredictable, unsettled and unashamedly self-obsessed. This typeface has been created with elegant curves, razor-sharp edges and plunging descenders paired with high-contrast strokes and confident, unique flair. As loveable as it is dangerous, this typeface is perfect for making bold, unapologetic statements.

Poster for the first feature film by Marina Prados & Paula Knüpling, which premiered at the Filmfestival Max Ophüls Preis in January 2022.

The poster uses Neue Helvetica (Linotype), completely in uppercase, combined with a handwritten title by David Benksi. The same credits design can be found in the movie trailer.

Poster and titles designed by Mauricio Garza for the short film Solazo, directed by Kevin Vásquez and produced by Poema de Amor.

Solazo is set in a future where solar radiation has become harmful. Humanity has managed to adapt. However, Lucas is torn between the attraction and repulsion that the sun causes him, while he takes care of a plant.

The title is set in Nostra Stream by Lucas Descroix. Nostra Stream is used for the credits as well, combined with Roboto Mono by Christian Robertson and Gascogne by Brendel / Typeshop.

Title design for Troye Sivan’s live performace of his EP In A Dream by Bradley Pinkerton. Main titles use all-caps Aneirin and following titles use Eurocine Wide Black.

Music video for “Iballa” by Fuel Fandango featuring Mala Rodríguez. Designer Africa Pombo is using Zephyr in big letters for the title design and end credits.

“Shaolin” is a single from Belgian producer Le Motel's latest album Pots & Pans, featuring rapper Magugu. The music video was directed by Nicolas Torres Correia and shot at the Shaolin Temple Europe, in Germany.

The title of the song is set in all-caps Nostra Sett, paired with Monument Extended for the credits. The type treatment was designed by Le Motel himself, who also happens to be taking care of everything visual for his own recently-created record label Maloca.

Square compositions for social media posts

Naranjo-Etxberria designed the title and credits for Vogue Spain’s Halloween fashion film. Directed by Javier Cortés, A XXI Century Witch makes a modern interpretation of magic showing how a witch could be in our time.

Spain Creative Agency wrote about why choosing Millionaire Italic:

Making an analogy with this reinterpretation of the past, we have chosen the Millionaire Italic typeface. Designed by Altiplano, it is inspired by the George Bickham The Elder’s sophisticated handwriting and engravings from XVII and XVIII century but with a modern and contemporary vision.

Times is used for subtitles and end credit.

Hum Bhai & a single Golab Tear documents the Giving Room boys on a philanthropic skateboarding excursion to various parts of India. There, they met up with old friends, skate crews and collectives that are all pioneering the skateboarding scene across the country. Skating would not be as far as it has gotten in India if it weren’t for them, and we were more than happy to offer a helping hand and donations – all to spread the love and share the stoke.

Oroban is used for the titles as well as for the poster announcing the premiere screening.
