US print ad and lobby cards for Galaxy of Terror featuring one of its earlier alternate titles, Planet of Horrors, said to be the original title of the screenplay for the film. Another alternate title, seen on an early trailer, was Mindwarp: An Infinity of Terror. During production, the film was also known as was The Quest, which is the name of a spaceship in the film.

Galaxy of Terror is a 1981 science fiction horror film produced by Roger Corman through New World Pictures and directed by Bruce D. Clark. It was distributed by United Artists. It stars Edward Albert, Erin Moran, Ray Walston and Taaffe O'Connell.

The film is said to have been heavily influenced by Ridley Scott’s Alien, released in 1979. James Cameron also worked as Production Designer and Second Unit Director on Galaxy of Terror, forging an almost direct connection between the film and the Alien franchise, as Cameron would later go on to direct Aliens.

The film’s alternate title, as seen on this US print ad and lobby cards, is set in Earth, which was also later used on Cameron’s The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Furthermore, Ernest D. Farino, who designed and later supervised the title sequences seen in the first two Terminator films, also worked on Galaxy of Terror as Graphic Animation Designer.

Starcrash (Italian: Scontri stellari oltre la terza dimensione, lit. 'Starfights beyond the third dimension') is a 1978 space opera film directed and co-written by Luigi Cozzi, and starring Marjoe Gortner, Caroline Munro, Christopher Plummer, David Hasselhoff and Joe Spinell.

It is widely regarded as a "cash-in" on the unprecedented success of Star Wars. Filmed at Cinecittà studios in Rome, the film was produced independently by brothers Nat and Patrick Wachsburger, and features a musical score composed by John Barry.

Released by New World Pictures on December 10, 1978, it received generally negative reviews from critics, but has developed a cult following.

Two freshly graduated female students hold their diplomas up in the air while looking at the viewer, with one exposing a naked leg. For those who consider the combination of the image with the subtitle “A Report Card on the Love Generation” too vague, a row of clip-art-like images has been added below the film title, detailing what the viewer will be seeing: some romance and no shortage of fast and motorized machines.

On the IMDb website, the film is summarized as “one for forgiving fans of 70’s counter-culture flicks” by user Red Barracuda:

For me, some films get by almost exclusively on their early 70’s era vibes. The Young Graduates is such a movie. [...] It’s not particularly strong in the story department but for what it’s worth it revolves around a teenage girl who starts an affair with one of her teachers; later on, her and her friend set off on a road trip where they encounter various stock and trade characters of the day.

The typefaces are trendy choices. Harry (1966) was released a few years before by VGC for setting headlines on their Photo Typositor machines. Bradley was published as a typeface by ATF in 1895. In the 1960s and 1970s it lived a second life along numerous other “novelty” typefaces of the late 1800s, after they were made available for phototype and/or rub-down lettering.
