      <title><![CDATA[Next Generation Campaign (2019) for FHNW Academy of Art and Design]]></title>

Two of the applications that were designed by Hoang Nguyen are a flyer, of which the different words could be peeled off and used as stickers, and a bag that was distributed at various events of the FHNW Academy of Art and Design.<br />
<br />
In this context, the first few characters of <a href="http://davidgobber.com/typefaces#Generation%20Mono"><strong>Generation Mono</strong></a> were drawn. Its design is ultrawide and lends itself to be set vertically, which was its main use for posters and other applications. Together with <a href="http://davidgobber.com/">David Gobber</a> (<a href="http://www.instagram.com/david.gobber/">IG</a>), the character set got expanded to cover the basic Latin alphabet, including all figures and some of the most essential interpunctuation. To support the “next generation(s)” of designers <a href="http://davidgobber.com/typefaces#Generation%20Mono">Generation Mono</a> was recently <a href="http://davidgobber.com/typefaces#Generation%20Mono">released as a free font</a> which can be used in both commercial and non-commercial projects.</p>

<p>The design relies on the statement that hip-hop is a kind of modern archeology through the art of digging and sampling. The visual displays borders and ornaments from a <a target="_self" class="entity-link" href="https://fontsinuse.com/foundry/1178/deberny-peignot" data-entity-code-id="1178" data-entity-code-type="Foundry">Deberny & Peignot</a> catalogue. The inside is inspired by some old archeology books from the 20th century, Each object portrays an artist/track.</p>

<p>Hip Dozer aspires to represent a scene often limited to the adjective lo-fi and its eclecticism, this fourth edition,brings together accomplished artists &amp; promising beatmakers. A way of showing through 28 tracks that those producers have some groove left on their MPCs.</p>

<p>The <strong><a target="_self" class="entity-link" href="https://fontsinuse.com/typefaces/121629/nrv" data-entity-code-id="121629" data-entity-code-type="TypeEntity">NRV</a></strong> typeface is the result of <a href="http://www.roxanegataud.com/">Roxane Gataud</a>’s workshop at <a href="http://www.esad-gv.fr/">ESAD• Valence</a>. An introduction to type design by experimenting with shapes: no pencil allowed, only scissors and paper. My point was to create a font with massive serifs so I could write inside. The display typeface shown prominently when the flyer is still folded up is called <strong><a target="_self" class="entity-link" href="https://fontsinuse.com/typefaces/129439/kiosk" data-entity-code-id="129439" data-entity-code-type="TypeEntity">Kiosk</a></strong>. It was designed by <a href="http://davidgobber.com/">David Gobber</a> and is available <a href="http://davidgobber.com/work/kiosk-typeface">from his website</a>. The typeface used to set the running text is <strong><a target="_self" class="entity-link" href="https://fontsinuse.com/typefaces/38634/ll-unica77" data-entity-code-id="38634" data-entity-code-type="TypeEntity">Unica77</a></strong>, the corporate typeface of the Basel School of Design designed by Team77, which is available <a href="http://lineto.com/typefaces/unica77">from Lineto</a>. <p>Today we are living in the world where fear and doubt are being condemned to the ever-lasting flight down the void. Regarded as concepts of weakness and futility and opposed by the constantly enhancing and inflated concept of positive-thinking and “gratefulness”, fear and doubt became even more shameful to experience than they used to be throughout the history. This becomes a reason for us to start denouncing such crucial parts of our lives as non-important ones or as those that are reinforcing fears and insecurities in favour of artificial cover made of all that successful compensating and striving. The names appear to be set in all-caps <strong><a target="_self" class="entity-link" href="https://fontsinuse.com/typefaces/4302/myriad" data-entity-code-id="4302" data-entity-code-type="TypeEntity">Myriad</a></strong> Light.</p>

The performance takes you to a station platform of a tiny village, telling the viewer about moving and drifting through the screen of a mobile phone. The designs for the performance include a fictional train ticket and packaging, a “lost cat” poster – and a thank you message for retrieving the cat. The ticket for the performance exists only as a 3D model. To witness the performance, you must have a cellular phone (with telephone number) and earphones. This performance is only for advance purchase. There are no on-site sales.</p>
