Botanical Inspiration: Nature in art and illustration is a new publication designed by viction:workshop and published by Victionary, featuring a collection of nature illustrations by a range of contemporary artists from around the world.

The book uses Ogg for titles and literary excerpts alongside images of flora and fauna depicted in a variety of visual styles, techniques, and media. From blooming mushrooms rendered with acrylic paint on wood, to riso prints of blooming bouquets, the rich interpretations of nature are vast and vibrant.

The title typeface is Geotica Open, used with its swash alternates for B and N as well as customized forms for L and the superscript o. The mix is rounded out by an unidentified sans serif.

The Party by Ostbahnhof is an international event series that bridges the gap between queer: music, art, and political communities.

Alximia is a new natural ancient cosmetics brand from Tulúm, Q. Roo, México. It is inspired by the moon, divine occultism, magic and alchemy; using materials of national origin, their mixes pay tribute to the wealth of the lunar phases and seeks to reconnect women with her personality.

They reached the office with the opportunity to develop the visual identity as well as packaging for their products. Since the brand is directed to women, we selected feminine tones to be incoportated across the identity … all with a good use of black. The identity was created under the premises of darkness, nature and minimal aesthetics.

Relief Sari is Herbana's first product, a range of herbal supplement that helps maintain a healthy lifestyle in a simple way. The 1984 developed branding and packaging for Herbana.

Maison with Maison Mono is selected as the primary typeface, whilst Caecilia is used only for secondary font in the packaging. Relief Sari’s range uses orange and pale teal as its identity color, including the color on its capsules. Amber glass is chosen as the bottle’s material to inject a rustic, apothecary look.

OK RM reviewed and redesigned the signage and wayfinding for one of the most important buildings in British architectural history. Wayfinding information is set in Pitch and Founders Grotesk Text. Longer texts are set in Farnham, which was already in use as a house style typeface before the redesign. OK RM:

We were commissioned at the start of a two year master plan to review a new environmental graphics and way-finding scheme. The first step was to remove the myriad of municipal design languages that have crept in to the building in recent years.

Inspired by the idea that geometry is a source of beauty (an idea inherent in the architectural premise of the house) we created hierarchies of content that all shared the same width of line – unifying content of various scales and styles.

The signs are finished with gold-plated footings that complement the electric blue typography that was matched to the original ‘Queen’s House blue’ found on the original Tulip Stairs at the heart of the building.
