Designer Maude Gilman combines photography by Elizabeth Baptiste with Einhorn. This bold upright script (or joined-up roman) by Alan Meeks is a reinterpretation of Salut (Klingspor, 1931), issued by Letraset in 1980. Einhorn is distinguished from Heinrich Maehler’s original by various details, including a two-story a and a round-top A, both of which are featured here.

The back cover continues the “on an angle” theme. It depicts the LP cover and mentions the title of the B-side, “Windows”. Originally not on the album, this song was included on the remastered CD reissue from 2011. Small text is added in Futura Condensed, in italic all caps.

CrazySexyCool is the second studio album by American girl group TLC. It was released on November 15, 1994, by LaFace and Arista Records. Following the group's record deal, they released their debut album Ooooooohhh... On the TLC Tip in 1992 to positive reviews and commercial success. The following year the group began working on a follow-up with an unproductive recording process due to personal struggles, notably those of member Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes who was involved in a volatile romantic relationship and struggling with alcoholism. The album's recording lasted until September 1994, with Lopes' role diminished because she was in rehab.

FF Blur is also used on the CD itself, as well as on the tracklisting located on the back of the album.

Canadian pressing for Pelican West, the debut by Haircut One Hundred, released as a double album in 1982 by Arista Records. The original UK release featured the same sleeve.

Design by Peter Hill, with art direction by David Shortt and photography by Gered Mankowitz. The typography exclusively features lowercase characters from Eurostile Bold. Each glyph is shown in a rhomboid, rotated by some degrees. This device of creating pseudo-italics has been dubbed rotalics. While the letters of the band name are rotated clockwise, those used for the album title are rotated counterclockwise – a contra-rotalic, if you will.

For the release poster, Peter Hill used the same band photo and paired it with Eurostile Bold Extended and Balmoral (Letraset, 1978).

Haas Inserat-Grotesk / Neue Aurora VIII for the cover of Radio Ethiopia, the second studio album by the Patti Smith Group. It released in October 1976 by Arista Records. The album design is credited to Nancy Greenberg and Patti Smith. Cover photography by Judy Linn. The back cover features a group photo by Lynn Goldsmith and text in Bodoni. At the top, there is a line of characters from the Ethiopic script also known as Geʽez, as used for the Amharic and Tigrinya languages, among others. ሬዲዮ፡ኢትዮጵያ፧ translates to “Radio Ethiopia?”. It’s not clear if this is type or lettering.

Helvetica Condensed is the typeface used for Horses, the debut album by Patti Smith, produced by John Cale and released on November 10, 1975, on Arista Records. From Wikipedia:
