TeamFirst is a community-driven platform in Japan focused on fostering both individual careers and company growth. It unites forward-thinking professionals—bilingual talents included—and innovative companies via events, mentorship, and recruiting services.

For their rebrand, nowthen used Sagace as the main typeface, paired with Hauora Sans Medium for text.

Zürich’s most famous shopping street uses Cormorant for text and editorial design on their website as well as for on-site messaging.

Repass is a flexible transparency platform that enables brands and manufacturers to create digital product passports (DPPs). These passports ensure compliance with EU and US regulations while providing tools for storytelling, cross-selling and customer engagement. By facilitating data exchange across the value chain, Repass helps companies build trust, improve sustainability and create new revenue streams.

Designed by Studio Sager using Melange Grotesk in Regular and Semi Bold, paired with Source Serif.

The Hegi-Hegifeld local association, founded in 1926, is a key institution in Hegi, a quarter in Winterthur, Switzerland. It represents the interests of residents to authorities and strengthens social cohesion through regular events. In 2024, a table fair (Tischmesse Hegi) offered local businesses and associations the opportunity to present themselves to residents for the first time. Over 50 exhibitors showcased their products and services.

As a member of the organizing committee, Eyland designed the visual identity for the small yet refined fair and created various promotional materials. For the design, Eyland combined an eyecatching background in combination with a heavy typeface (NN Swinton).

Hovedstaden bag facaden (“The capital behind the facade”) by Ulf Svane and Mathias Kobberrød Rasmussen of Copenhagen Archive is a 400-page photo book, published by Lindhardt & Ringhof, documenting the small, local, historical, and unfortunately disappearing businesses of the city of Copenhagen.

Spine Studio did the layout using Malamocco and Century Schoolbook.

TT Firs Neue is used in the logo and on the website of Brazilian company Husky. On the website, it’s paired with General Sans.

The business revolves around a platform that facilitates the receipt of payments by people who are living outside Brazil.

The website for Entrepreneur First was designed by London-based digital design studio Alchemy. From their website:

Entrepreneur First is the world’s leading talent investor. Investing time and money in the world’s most talented and ambitious individuals, helping them to find a co-founder, develop an idea, and start a company. Founding the future.

Alchemy used PS Times by Parker Studio, paired with Neue Haas Grotesk Display Medium by Christian Schwartz.

Studio Size created a new brand identity for OB2B to give the brand a clean, professional appearance. OB2B is a business development consultancy working primarily in the DACH region. The color palette paints them as a reliable partner, while the Helvetica Now typeface and subtle motion design give the brand a sophisticated aura.

OB2B is a hero archetype. They are hungry to learn, improve, work hard and master their profession. “Invest in yourself” is their new motto that captures the essence of their culture but also functions as an opening of their sales pitch to prospective clients.

TT Commons Classic is paired with SangBleu Kingdom and Calibri for the brand of Die Schrittmacher, a tax and law firm in Offenburg, Germany. The logo features TT Commons with a custom barless A.

As lawyers, tax advisors, and business economists, Die Schrittmacher’s employees help clients make their businesses better. The company is ready to assist in tax, business management, business law, crisis consulting, and consultancy for consultants.

LaForce is a company offering “communications strategies for big brands… and for smaller ones with big dreams”. Among the “big clients” are Target, Verve Clicquot, Lexus, Spotify, Hunter, and LinkedIn, to name a few.

F37 Bobby is used as a large display typeface and in headers. It is paired with Galano Grotesque for the body copy.

Kikin is a business financier whose goal is to “reward businesses that are good for people and planet”.

Kikin's branding was designed by Koto and makes heavy use of Central Type’s Deacon. It mostly features the Black weight of Deacon, but Bold is also used for smaller sizes. Even the logotype features modified version of Deacon Black with a shortened and flipped k and a squared off and shortened i. Kikin’s website features Graphik as its body type.

F37 Wicklow Stencil by F37 Foundry is in use for the digital identity of consultancy network The Good Stream, designed by Here After. From the network’s website:

The Good Stream is a network of specialist consultants who offer guidance and support to businesses looking to positively transform how they do business. We know that reimagining our business models creates the foundation for a sustainable and regenerative future.

The all lowercase logo features an interlinear gs ligature. The supporting sans serif is Neue Haas Grotesk Display.

The logo of Max’s Kansas City uses all-lowercase Windsor. Despite some small differences in the rendition for the sign, the typeface’s distinguishing features like the a’s round belly or the sloping stems in m and n were preserved.

Max’s Kansas City was a nightclub and restaurant at 213 Park Avenue South in New York City [see Google Street View], which became a gathering spot for musicians, poets, artists and politicians in the 1960s and 1970s. It was opened by Mickey Ruskin (1933–1983) in December 1965 and closed in 1981.

Artists that frequented the establishment included the Velvet Underground, Aerosmith, David Bowie, Iggy Pop, Lou Reed and Alice Cooper. Years later Yvonne Sewall-Ruskin, the widow of Max’s founder Mickey Ruskin, would write a book based on the club entitled High On Rebellion it was also featured as a playable level in Guitar Hero: Aerosmith.

Feminism + Business : a proposal to rethink, redesign & dare to dream investigates how we might imagine a new paradigm in business based on feminist business principles and explore opportunities for adoption at the core of business.

The research project is a Master thesis by Kristin Hall, created at Hyper Island’s Digital Management course. The academic essay explores how we might nurture more holistic and human-centred organisations, and where the adoption of feminist business principles results in new opportunities for all.

Час закритих дверей / Closing time is a photo project about Ukrainian businesses being closed or transformed during Covid-19 pandemic. More than 100 owners of local restaurants, travel agencies, large logistics centers, private schools, small craft industries, law firms, sports centers etc. We took portraits of them in their working spaces and tried to figure out what they feel after closing the doors for the undetermined period of time.

Hexagon Agency went with Soyuz Grotesk for project members’ names due to a couple of reasons. We liked the Cyrillic version of Soyuz Grotesk, which is a huge fortune nowadays. We also found it pretty interesting, that Soyuz Grotesk is a modern interpretation of Cyrillic Helvetica, despite being both charming and awkward typeface. Thus, choosing Helvetica Neue Cyrillic for body text and titles wasn’t a tough decision. We found something that was pretty universal, but not sterile.

In addition, we were obsessed with a modern concept of “kleinschreibung” or unicase, which was implemented in Soyuz Grotesk by abandoning using the uppercase. This is also an ideological moment, because it not only makes the overall typesetting more rational, but translates the idea of equality and democracy as well.

Three typefaces by Joshua Darden were brought together for the visual identity of Notation. The website of the Brooklyn-based venture firm combines the sans-serif Halyard Display with the seriffed Freight Text and Freight Display.

Halyard Display is used for the menu and the introduction on the homepage. The Bold weight is specified for the list of companies. It also serves for headings and, in all caps, for navigational items. Freight Text is the text typeface, used in roman and italic styles. Freight Display can lend its beauty to larger headlines and intro texts (see Who We Are, Companies).

Although Halyard and Freight weren’t specifically developed to work together (and in fact Joshua Darden’s Freight series comprises a dedicated Sans member), designer Tida Tep realized that the two families harmonize well, coming from the same hands. The logo is custom, but appears to be based on Sharp Grotesk by Sharp Type. The website was built by Camp Quiet.

Fisnnish agency Porkka& Kuutsa designed the identity and website, using Camber (Regular + Italic, Medium and Semibold) throughout.

Fashion System is a digital transformation platform and a magazine of Turkey’s fashion industry. It is a communication platform that strives to create a source of information regarding the methods by making intellectual contributions to the digital transformation processes of Turkey’s ready-made garment and fashion industry. 1970s typographic influences were chosen to give it a hybrid look which stands equally close to both retail business and fashion design.

Value Serif and Founders Grotesk X-Condensed are used mainly for headlines and side information, while Galaxie Copernicus and Founders Grotesk were chosen for body text.

From Pentagram New York (Luke Hayman):

Keap, formerly Infusionsoft, specializes in CRM (customer relationship management) and marketing automation software that helps small businesses manage their customers and operations―booking appointments, sending proposals and invoices, and collecting payments―all in one place.

Pentagram has developed a new brand identity for Keap, including its new name, that captures the platform’s ease of use and powerful capabilities.

The primary typeface is Ivar Soft, a custom version of the graceful and sturdy serif Ivar Headline (designed by Letters from Sweden) that nods to the Times New Roman so many small business owners work with every day. The typeface has been rounded for warmth, friendliness and a more contemporary feel, and can easily scale up or down without losing legibility. Secondary type is set in Sul Sans, a geometric sans serif that helps readability in the Keap interface, and Sul Mono, a monospace font that is useful for UI design (both designed by R-Typography).

Ivar Soft was released for general licensing in February 2019.
