This album by Wilbur De Paris (1900–1973) & His New New Orleans Jazz was released in 1959. If Marvin Israel, art director at Atlantic Records, used Photo-Lettering’s adaptation of Crayonette, that would make this an early use of it: Crayonette is not yet included in their Alphabet Thesaurus, vol. 2 from 1960.
