The illustration and design are by Terry Lamb. The title and artist are set in Premier Shaded, while the back cover uses a combination of Arnold Böcklin and an unidentified slab serif that’s similar to but lighter than Egyptienne Bold Condensed [edit: it’s Craw Clarendon Condensed, see comments].

This album by jazz pianist Ahmad Jamal (1930–2023) was recorded live on January 17, 1958 at the Pershing Hotel, Chicago, and released in 1961 on the local Argo label.

The cover design by Emmett McBain combines a photograph by Don Bronstein with Cubist Bold. Drawn by John W. Zimmerman, this set of Art Deco caps was among the last typefaces to be issued by Chicago-based foundry Barnhart Brothers & Spindler, shortly before it stopped operating in 1929.
