<p><a target="_self" class="entity-link" href="https://fontsinuse.com/designers/2537/elaine-lustig-cohen" data-entity-code-id="2537" data-entity-code-type="Designer">Elaine Lustig Cohen</a> designed several book jackets for <a target="_self" class="entity-link" href="https://fontsinuse.com/tags/3967/meridian-books" data-entity-code-id="3967" data-entity-code-type="Tag">Meridian Books</a>, as well as other collateral, such as this moving notice. Like her first husband, Alvin Lustig, who passed away in 1955, she favored strong, modernist concepts. Elaine’s work, however, often used type as illustration. Here, a stencilized <strong><a target="_self" class="entity-link" href="https://fontsinuse.com/typefaces/1267/volta" data-entity-code-id="1267" data-entity-code-type="TypeEntity">Volta</a></strong> acts as a train.</p>
