<p>Two sans serifs with angled terminals and roots in the 1920s, one very light and one rather bold: <strong><a target="_self" class="entity-link" href="https://fontsinuse.com/typefaces/4190/kabel" data-entity-code-id="4190" data-entity-code-type="TypeEntity">Kabel</a> Light</strong> (1927) and <strong><a target="_self" class="entity-link" href="https://fontsinuse.com/typefaces/32715/novel-gothic" data-entity-code-id="32715" data-entity-code-type="TypeEntity">Novel Gothic</a></strong> (1928) are contrasted on the German sleeve for Joe Cocker’s 1971 hit single “<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Cocker_(album)">High Time We Went</a>”.</p>

<p>The American version by <a target="_self" class="entity-link" href="https://fontsinuse.com/tags/11730/aandm-records" data-entity-code-id="11730" data-entity-code-type="Tag">A&M Records</a> shown below uses a larger crop of the same stylized photograph, and exclusively Novel Gothic.</p>
