La nueva constitución de Chile con peras y manzanas (“Chile's New Constitution with Apples and Pears”) is a pocket-sized book designed to explain, through simple infographics, the key concepts of the proposed new constitution for Chile, developed during 2020-2021.

The book was designed and produced by the Chilean design studio Otros Pérez, and printed by Lom in one blue ink. The typesetting uses only a few styles from the Lira Sans family (Lira Sans Regular and Bold; Lira Sans Wide Regular). Along with the text layout, a wide system of pictograms called Persona, a WIP project designed by Sergio Ramírez, is used extensively.

Tendencias constitucionales. Experiencias comparadas y lecciones para Chile (Constitutional Tendencies. Comparative Experiences and Lessons for Chile) is a book about the need for a new Chilean constitutional process to change the current national constitution, which was drafted during the civil-military dictatorship. Edited by Alejandro Corvalán and Francisco Soto, this book was published after the social uprising of 2019, which resulted in two failed processes of constitutional change.

This book identifies some vectors that can order the constituent conversation from the comparative analysis. Constitutional trends in the world are shown in three dimensions: State form, government system and fundamental rights. The Chilean Constitution, centralist, presidential in nature, and liberal in rights, distances itself from these international trends and represents rather an anachronism in comparative terms.

The layout was made exclusively with the Modérnica type family in different styles.

This digital poster announces an online presentation by Dillon Bastan on May 11th, 2023. It included a screening of the short film Criticality that Dillon created for their senior thesis. Audio developer and sound artist Bastan graduated from the Masters in Sonic Art / Sound Studies at the Universität der Künste Berlin in 2022.

The poster features various graphics marking the speaker’s technical and technological approach. For instance, the wave graphs in the middle of the design could relate to sound analysis.

The amorphous typeface used for the name is Aurora Lights and the date in Chennai. The rounded sans used for the description is yet unidentified. Bryant Alternate is similar.

Jason Oberg designed the cover using the 1403 Vintage Mono typeface. The paperback compilation Talk Nerdy to Me: Grantland’s Guide to the Advanced-Analytics Revolution was published by ESPN (@ESPN) and Grantland in conjunction with the MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference (@sloansportsconf) held 28 February 2014 to 1 March 2014. The book was part of the conference attendee gift bag and sold through the Grantland online store.

Published by Typographica, this census provides an overview of issues and trends in typeface design today. It uses Gimlet for text, Output for headers, pullquotes, and captions, and Chartwell for graphs.

Fun Toilet Facts is a series of diagrams and was contributed to Bureau Stabil’s toilet-themed fanzine “Klolektüre” (toilet read). The entry uses (then newly released) Granville, a modulated sans by Production Type. The crescent moon in Average loudness of toilet flush is a Webdings glyph.

Bureau Stabil published the fanzine to support WiWo e.V.’s “Mpigi & Tiiti School Project”, a local fundraising event. WiWo is a Saarbrücken-based charity group of like-minded friends with diverse projects. Back then, they were supporting an Ugandan elementary school with plans and help for new toilet facilities.
