Designer of more than 80 typefaces for MacKellar, Smiths & Jordan where he patented many of his designs. Some sources spell his first name as “Hermann” but his signature and patent documents spell it with one ‘n’. AKA Ihlenberg.
The Cary Graphic Arts Collection at RIT hosts a substantial collection of Ihenburg’s drawings and papers.
