John F. Cumming

Born May 20, 1852 in Harrisville, Pennsylvania [De Vinne 1900]. Punchcutter in 1881 at Boston Type Foundry and then in 1884 for Dickinson where he worked for at least 14 years. His first published typeface was Dresden. [Loy]
