Logotype designed by Margo Chase for the 1999 television series Angel. The series is a spin-off of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, for which Chase also designed the logo. The title sequence was designed by Regis B. Kimble. Promotional poster by an unknown designer.

This is a print ad from DiMarzio, the guitar pickup manufacturer, congratulating guitarist Joe Satriani for winning the “Rock guitarist of the year” reader poll award in Guitar Player magazine.

“Congratulations To” is set in Neue Helvetica 33 Thin Extended, stretched horizontally and lossely spaced, while “Joe Satriani” is set in T-26’s Flexure. The smaller text is a mixture of Courier New and Flexure.

Recorded June 1993 in the church of St. Pantaleon, Cologne, and released in 1994 by Deutsche Harmonia Mundi / BMG Classics in co-production with WDR Köln, it’s part of “a series of recordings of the complete works of Germany’s most important medieval composer, the abbess and visionary Hildegard von Bingen (1098–1179)”.
