Designer Rory Overdorff used Newsagent and Blackbike from Typeverything, Fairley Five and Eight from Ephemera Fonts, and LHF Chicago Script from Letterhead Fonts to create a bold and contemporary bottle design for Kennedy’s Irish Whiskey that emphasizes strong typographic presence.

The typeface’s structured yet expressive forms bring clarity and confidence to the layout, allowing the label to communicate directly and elegantly. The clean composition and modern letterforms of Newsagent anchor the visual identity, making typography the hero of the piece.

Bait Suqrat (بيت سقراط / House of Socrates) is a restaurant and café in 6th of October City near Cairo, Egypt. The restaurant’s orange board is designed using the Nasser font. In addition, the logo includes the subline “Lebanese meals” using Nasser.

Hacen Casablanca is used for the two words of “Mat’am waa Kafaih” (Restaurant and Café) at the right.

This truck fooled me. At first I assumed it was hand painted — that flick at the end of the ‘S’, the handwriting ampersand, the close shade — but closer inspection revealed Workhorse, a font calculated to mimic a sign painter’s gothic. The shadow on the right side could have been a clue: sign painters usually shade on the lower left.

The multicolored Mexican 100% is a nice touch.
