Raymond Eugene Baker, b. 1915. Chicago-based lettering artist and type designer. Associated with Lettering Inc. (1940–1952), Filmotype (1952–1953), and ITC (1970s). President of Fotolines, Inc. (1953–), founder of the franchise business Custom Headings International, director of Seek, Inc. and Universal Type Rentals. [Who’s Who in the Midwest, 1972–1973]
