Bizzy Cold Brew is a cold brew coffee company founded in 2013 with an obsession for cold brew and a commitment to organic beans with maximum flavor and strength.

In 2025, Bizzy Cold Brew collaborated with Day Job for an all-new identity from strategy to art direction; emphasizing quality ingredients, intense attention to detail, and sustainable business practices. The new look uses natural tones of brown, green, and tan as well as a visual ethos built around always pursuing perfection. Dayjob chose Tarnac by Marc Rouault, available from Sharp Type, as their main typeface to unify their overall identity that drew from vintage woodcuts and archival references. The supporting sans is Schick Toikka’s Dia Light, and the scripty logo appears to be custom drawn.

From information on the label of every “Ready-To-Drink” bottle and "Brew-It-Yourself" bags to their web layout, Tarnac brought a timeless look that merged historical visuals and modern coffee culture sensibilities.

Branding for Kimbara premium waygu, Japanese-style beef from Kimberly, Australia. The design is minimalist, mostly black and white, and relies on typography and calligraphy to make it distinctive. Two display typefaces are combined: Ergon for the main wordmark and Chap for titles and headlines.

From the words of Block, the branding studio behind the project:

The brand is built from contrast. Japanese bloodlines, raised in the wilds of the Kimberley. Refined craft, grounded in rugged country. Kimbara’s identity draws directly from this terrain – a mineral-rich palette inspired by the region’s iconic black rock formations. At its heart is the Wagyu itself, introduced through a bespoke logomark based on the Japanese character for ‘GYU’ (cow).

To bring this to life, master Japanese calligrapher Maki Shimano was commissioned. Her brushstrokes – elegant, angular and expressive – gave the mark both cultural resonance and visual power. Paired with a bold, modern wordmark, the final identity is a collision of heritage and place. It speaks fluent Wagyu, but with an unmistakable Australian accent.

The website was built by Start and additionally uses TT Commons for small text.

Sundose for the headline

Sundose appears on the official Instagram accounts of Philadelphia Magazine (@phillymag) and Foobooz (@foobooz) in food and beverage news. On Phillymag.com, the article featuring the 50 best restaurants in Philadelphia – written by Kae Lani Palmisano, Adam Erace, and Jason Sheehan – also uses Sundose for the headline.

Sundose is mixed across three typeface styles—Regular, Compressed, and Expanded—which are combined to create an aesthetic mood of taste.

Sundose is used for the title and the list of restaurants. The quote is in Noe Text and “50 Best Restaurants 2026” in all-caps Gotham Rounded.

The design studio Stroke and Marvel conceived and designed this cycling guide for the tourism board of the German region Seenland Oder-Spree.

Typeset in German and Polish, the booklet covers twenty cycling tours over 180 pages, complete with clear maps and lovely photos of the countryside.

Headlines and map labels are beautifully set my typeface Bild. The main body text is set in Loretta by Nova Type, with supporting text in Dia by Schick Toikka.

X Games is one of the world’s most recognizable action-sports institutions, a global league where skateboarders, BMX riders, skiers, and snowboarders push the outer limits of athletic possibility. Founded by ESPN, the competition has evolved into a year-round ecosystem of events, broadcasts, and digital storytelling, shaping how action sports are seen and celebrated.

Across summer and winter seasons, X Games operates as both showcase and proving ground: a space where athletes meet high and intense stakes, define entire eras through a single run or trick. Its identity must hold all that intensity while remaining clear, immediate, and unmistakable at any scale.

Record Laser appears throughout the identity as the primary wordmark. Its sharp, unapologetically retro-futuristic forms capture the speed and adrenaline core to X Games culture. The typeface’s angular rhythm and high-impact silhouette lend the brand a distinct visual charge, one that feels equally at home on a broadcast graphic, a leaderboard, or a city-scale billboard. For the main titles, the design team choose bold weights of Lateral Extended and paired it with Lateral Condensed and Medium for the lower level of text. Lateral is a super extensive font family by Schick Toikka.

The rebrand was developed by WKND HRS, with contributions from designers including Noé Garsoux, Manas Trivedi and others.

One Morning is a modern mental health offering designed to support employees and reimagine what employee assistance programs can be. The identity strikes a balance between sophistication and approachability—built to resonate across generations.

Set in all lowercase, the logotype uses The Seasons, a refined serif with subtle humanist touches. Custom letterforms bring hidden meaning to life: a 1 is embedded in the stems of the n and m, while the g is simplified for a more grounded feel.

To complement the logo, the typographic system combines Items and Aeonik—each bringing distinct texture to the brand. Items, used for headlines, is a contemporary serif with crisp contrast and sharp detailing that brings an editorial edge and quiet confidence to the system. Aeonik, used for body copy and secondary headlines, is a geometric sans with just enough warmth in its curves to feel human without losing structure. Together, they create a dynamic and flexible system—balancing clarity with character, and structure with empathy.

2025 marks the twelfth edition of the Freiluftkino Frankfurt. For this season, the visuals shine in summery color gradients. In combination with film stills from the current program, the posters and printed matter create an atmosphere of warm summer evenings in the open-air cinema. The use of Scto Grotesk A supports the minimalist character of the design.

Handsome Brook Farms partnered with Redscout to bring joy, clarity, and purpose to the egg aisle, creating a brand that leads with its values and celebrates its pasture-raised spirit.

Redscout selected Krana Fat by Schick Toikka for its bold, lively personality. Balancing prominence and warmth, the type helps Handsome Brook Farms stand out on crowded grocery shelves while staying true to the brand’s organic, ethical roots. Its rounded, slightly quirky shapes reflect the farm’s values: natural charm, genuine character, and a joyful break from industrial food production norms.

Paired with hand-made illustrations and a lively color palette, the typeface helps the brand open a new chapter with warmth, confidence, and joy.

Schick Toikka’s Scto Grotesk A in bold is used for all links and lists, with their Items typeface in light and light italic used for headings and body text. Pangram Pangram’s Playground is used as page titles that show on load and slowly fade out. Photography series use a mix of fonts to show the title of the works.

About the project, from developer Maël Ruffini:

The Jonathan Grado website brings to life the creative journey of photographer and artist Jonathan Grado, the third-generation leader of Brooklyn's renowned Grado Labs. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Jonathan has blended his family's legacy in audio innovation with his passion for multidisciplinary photography. The site features cinematic design that mirrors Jonathan's artistic vision, showcasing his work with brands like Pokémon and A24 Films.

Designed for flexibility, the website uses a modular layout. Smooth transitions immersive visuals guide users through Jonathan's portfolio, highlighting his attention to detail and creative storytelling.

We also integrated subtle text animations and gentle transitions throughout the site. These micro-interactions help guide visitors through the content without distracting from the images or the narrative.

The primary goal was to create a platform that would showcase Jonathan’s work as a photography portfolio, giving prominence to his images and narrative while allowing his work to speak for itself.

Principle design was done by Gaétan Pautler of Concrete Club.

Pulp & Grind is a cafe at Sydney Domestic airport serving healthy food and drinks. They approached Harley Johnston Design to update their brand as part of a store refresh with Chee Lam Design. The old store looked like a generic cafe, lacking any point of difference. Upon going through a brand workshop it was clear that the care and thought around healthy organic food and ingredients was not being conveyed as part of the brand. Led by Pulp & Grind we came up with the brand idea around ‘Healthy food made for the morning’. Acai bowls are a big part of the offering at Pulp & Grind and as they are popular in the eastern suburbs beaches this aesthetic influenced the creative direction. The logo shows a sun rising over the water and is pared with a logotype that matches the feel. The dark purple colour is drawn from Acai and is paired with banana, oat and berry colours.

Food and drink photography was created with a sandy background and styled with the healthy natural ingredients that go in to each item.

Orleans was used for the logo wordmark (with a customised ampersand). Marr Sans Condensed was used for headlines, Scto Grotesk A for body copy, and Pitch Sans for supporting captions.

Since 2023, restaurant EI-12437-B has been serving “a modern take on German classics” in a historical, refurbished building called the “Eierhäuschen” (Egg House). It was built in the early 1890s and was a popular destination for leisure and gastronomy, especially during the GDR era, before its ultimate closure in 1990. In addition to the restaurant, the renovated country-style structure features an event and exhibition space, as well as a beer garden. The restaurant’s identity and website were designed by Hei Agenda, typeset in Scto Grotesk A by Schick Toikka and HAL Timezone by HAL Typefaces.

Rock, Paper, Scissors is the book designed for Kiasma, the Finnish Museum of Contemporary Art, for their yearly collection exhibition. The exhibition of the same title focuses on the materiality in contemporary art. The theme revolves around the question: why does contemporary art look the way it does? The material used and how it’s worked often plays a central role in the meaning of the artwork. The exhibition offers insights into the diverse meanings of materials, questions of authorship and technique, and ways of perception. There’s always more to a material than meets the eye.

The task was to embody the theme of materiality into the exhibition publication. The theme was approached both concretely and conceptually. Concretely, materiality is reflected in the tactility of the print and finishing techniques. Conceptually, stylistic choices related to the preservation, archiving, and conservation of artworks were used.

The idea of archiving is reflected in the typography, layout, and print finishing. For the paper selection, materials were chosen to reflect the participatory nature of the works, which require the viewer’s active involvement or even physical touch. The materials are fragile and deteriorate over time, just like any object in our physical environment. In the museum’s collection, efforts are made to control the aging of materials by preserving artworks in optimal conditions and conserving them. This concept was integrated into the design.

In terms of typography, the use of lists, numbering, and a typewriter-like font style were central to the design. The variation in paper choices further emphasizes the materiality theme of the exhibition. The treatment of paper as a material itself was key – embossing, matte finishes, and transparency were used to highlight the theme. The publication invites the reader to explore it physically, offering a sensory experience beyond the visual.

Jacobin is a leading voice of the American left, offering socialist perspectives on politics, economics, and culture. The print magazine is released quarterly and reaches 75,000 subscribers, in addition to a web audience of over 3,000,000 a month.

With the redesign of the magazine’s appearance by Tsto in 2023, Lateral became the main font for headlines and logo, and Rosart its companion for text and editorial sections.

Tsto writes:

The guillotine, both in the custom J-serif and as a separate element became a frequently used component and a visual tool that ties the rest of the identity together with the macabre symbolism of the Reign of Terror time period.

Jacobin uses a customised version of Rosart with a set of raised small caps, as well as a Vietnamese language extension.

Future Viewfinder is a self-awareness tool for creative direction – designed to inspire you to “put your passions in places where you want to be.” This phrase, first written in my journal, has been my guiding mantra since early 2022. It reminds me – and now invites you – to seek out spaces that celebrate and elevate your unique passions.

The main card of the interactive print piece acts as a viewfinder – its die-cut, pixellated envelope design (linked to my monogram logo) invites you to press, push, and peek into your future.

I carefully selected typefaces that bring personality to the piece while dynamically filling the negative space of the die-cut. From a heavily condensed Grandmaster to the wide proportions of Afronaut. Their placement reinforces the project’s sense of movement and direction – shifting and changing as you engage with it.

Uplifting oranges, dreamy pinks and purples, and a hint of transformational teal – sourced from GF Smith Colorplan Papers – infuse the work with vibrant, forward-thinking energy.

Scott Miller, a premier salon, spa, and store in New York, is dedicated to creating an expansive experience for both clients and staff—an environment where everyone is respected, deeply cared for, and appreciated with gratitude.

Scott Miller opened the doors in 1985. The journey has taken them from a small salon in Fairport, New York, to the 15,000 square-foot Pittsford location today, located at 3340 Monroe Avenue, which houses the salon, spa, and store. They hand-pick the highest quality beauty and wellness products from around the world, and bring them to you in Rochester, New York, or at your fingertips in their robust online store.​

In this brand rework, we retained the well-known logo and created a new system around it. We enhanced typography and grid system, improving usability and readability on the web. In consultation with the brand, we developed a new color palette that is both energetic and delicate. To complement the new look, we designed a monogram emblem, offering new ways to utilize it in small spaces and enhancing the overall brand feel.

Additionally, we designed the website where you can experience Scott Miller’s new look in all its details. To reinforce the brand’s new perception, we created a modern and easy-to-use design.

Bobbie’s is a classic cocktail bar in Sydney, founded by Linden Pride and chef Niel Perry. Named after Linden’s grandpa, legendary radio disk jockey Bob Rogers, Bobbie’s embodies an old school New York classic-cool sensibility. A beautiful neighborhood joint made for good music, good cocktails, good company. Actuel Studio created a custom lettering, used alongside Selva from Colophon and Scto Grotesk A from Schick Toikka for their communication.

This poster is a part of series, designed by Oleg Šuran for Drugo more – a non profit organisation that produces, promotes, researches and disseminates culture. The posters are treated fairly loosely as series, each one using different colors, typefaces and images. For this specific event, seminar on the theme of “Invented institutions”, the designer chose to accompany his illustration of an inflatable institution with Rector, a display typeface reminiscent of stone carving and roman capitals. Contrasting the illustration, Rector was used to evoke an atmosphere of seriousness and tradition.

Disco Wheel is a transformative ceramic shop and workshop studio in Lisbon, Portugal, with an emphasis on the creative journey. Aimed at culturally curious and creative individuals, the workshops challenge you to use your hands to craft art on the wheel and experience a timeless moment with a curated playlist, scent and selection of natural wines or kombuchas. It opened in May 2024 at Rua De São Paulo 150, 1200-149 Lisboa.

Cinemaissí Film Festival takes place in Helsinki, Finland. The event focuses on promoting and showcasing films from Latin America, Spain, and Portugal and their main objective is to introduce and celebrate the cultural and cinematic diversity of Spanish-speaking and Portuguese-speaking countries. The festival presents a wide selection of films that encompass various genres and themes, ranging from dramas and comedies to documentaries and experimental films.

During the festival, films are screened in their original languages with Finnish or English subtitles to ensure that the audience can enjoy the works in their most authentic form. In addition to film screenings, the festival also organizes talks, panel discussions, and special events with directors, actors, and other film professionals.
