Iconic rap duo Co’Sang from Naples is back for their third album called DINASTIA. The names of the album and the band are typeset with Norman. More specifically, it uses the variable font, mixing Bold with Fat and Regular. The DINASTIA logo features a distinctive design enhanced by a particle noise effect, giving it a unique and dynamic texture.

This extra virgin olive oil from Irpinia in Southern Italy is crafted predominantly from the native Ravece cultivar. Its true distinction lies in its deep-rooted family heritage.

Monte Augusto is typeset in Norman with a swash on the capital A. The subhead Olio di Familia dal 1803 is also shown in golden letters and uses Turquoise. The back label is mainly designed using Auster.

The Merola family has been producing oil since at least 1803, a fact marked by the date engraved on a stone tub once used for storage. Young Vincenzo sought to honor this legacy by packaging the oil in an elegant bottle, departing from the traditional large-format cans. The uniquely shaped bottle, reminiscent of balsamic vinegar, is adorned in black and gold, exuding a sense of value at first glance. The family monogram, prominently displayed on the collar, echoes the one still found at the Merola palace in the historic center of Bonito.

The label is a testament to both tradition and craftsmanship. Made with black-textured UPM Raflatac Cotton Black paper, it features a portrait of Vincenzo’s great-great-grandfather, Nicola Merola, who first began marketing the family’s olive oil in the 19th century. This portrait is printed on UPM Raflatac Genesi paper. The label is printed using three different golds: offset for the text and nutritional information, laminates for the decorative olive leaves and carriage—an image still found in the Merola palace—and cast gold for the progressive bottle numbering and the inscription "Monte Augusto," the location of the family’s olive groves. The label wraps around the bottle, die-cut to form a drop of glass at the closure, with the cap sealed by a wax stamp bearing the Merola family monogram.

Restaurant Babae’s branding encapsulates the essence of authentic hospitality while embracing modern sophistication. The visual identity is anchored by its logo, which features a lyrical, handwritten aesthetic using Mina. This choice adds a personal, inviting touch that contrasts beautifully with the highly stylized imagery of produce and raw ingredients that form the backbone of Babae’s visual language.

This duality in design reflects the restaurant’s commitment to blending tradition with innovation, perfectly mirroring its dynamic, seasonal menu that showcases the best of contemporary Australian cuisine. Nestled within the historic Hotel Vera at 710 Sturt Street, Ballarat, Babae offers a dining experience that is as visually engaging as it is flavorful, with branding that evokes a sense of warmth, authenticity, and refined elegance. Mina is paired with Pitch Sans, one of the brand fonts for Hotel Vera.

Raye the Store is a travelling pop-up shop showcasing hundreds of products of the most innovative and exciting food, drinks and wellness brands. With each new edition, a distinctive color and font are assigned, maintaining a consistent brand identity while signaling the introduction of the newest products.

For Edition 07, curated for autumn, the design aesthetic revolves around muted, sophisticated colors with a predominant khaki tone. The typography plays a crucial role, featuring the elegant serif typeface Norman. Norman adds a touch of refinement with its condensed form and high contrast, exuding confidence and modernity. The inclusion of oblique axes gives it a contemporary twist, aligning perfectly with Raye’s commitment to blending timeless sophistication with contemporary allure.

Throughout all editions, Raye the Store maintains consistency with Xanh Mono and Space Mono, which complement Norman’s elegance with their clean, modern aesthetic. This deliberate choice of typography not only enhances readability but also reinforces the brand's visual identity across different product lines and editions.

This edition continues Raye’s tradition of presenting a harmonious fusion of design and product curation, offering a refined shopping journey that appeals to discerning tastes and celebrates the essence of autumnal elegance.

The Dinner Ladies needed a recipe for a rebrand that would not only pay respect to their unique origin story but bring their visual and verbal identity up to speed with their growth as Australia’s tastiest frozen meal service. Universal Favourite joined forces to cook them up a fresh look and feel that reflects their homely meals and anti-"mumsy" attitude, extending all the way from their website through to their packaging.

Universal Favourite used the typeface Denim by Displaay Type Foundry to show off The Dinner Ladies' confident personality yet retain practicality. Denim Wide’s used in headings and CTA applications to command attention, while its regular cut counterpart rounds out the system with a friendly, clean and legible option for subheadings and body copy. With its subtle details, the typeface can be an attention-grabbing hero element that showcases the bold tone of voice but also work alongside more expressive moments.

The logo is based on Oddity Script by Resistenza, redrawn and personalised by illustrator Jake Foreman with his iconic texture and gritty stipple.

The historic Pier 57 in New York’s Hudson River Park was redeveloped into a mixed-use community destination featuring a rooftop park, Google office space, and Market 57 food hall.

Handel Architects led the core design. Jamestown designed both logos in-house and worked with Airspace on the signage. Pier 57’s nameplate and mega-scale wayfinding aptly features Export, a blocky yet approachable font based on hand-carved prints found on a shipping box in NYC. Pier 57 dons a range of materials and finishes, from neon signs to glossy paint. Some of the wayfinding is also set in Bodoni Egyptian.

The accompanying food hall Market 57 is branded with the inviting and slightly quirky Auster. Like the rest Pier 57’s wayfinding and graphics in the market are set in Bodoni Egyptian, with smaller signs and text in the humanist-style Source Sans.

Large window decals set in Export

In the design of this label, made for the wines of the Cantina Camusi, we made an attempt to transfer the idea of ​​recovering the Irpinia tradition in the cultivation of the vineyard, full of dexterity in the loving care of the vine.

This idea, which is the basis of the Camusi family philosophy, was the fulcrum of the conception of these works. The objective of the packaging is to transfer the idea of ​​a natural wine obtained with the ancient work of the farmers in the vineyard. For Confini we used Turquoise, adding a flourish from the letter N, unites all the letters and makes the composition more compact.

For the graphics of the label, we chose to use a floral motif embroidered with patience and devotion as our grandmothers did, with warm colors and deliberately soft contrasts to get closer to the character of the wine, which rested for three before being consumed long years in precious barrels. The label was printed on Materica Gesso ultra WS paper and ennobled with hot gold details.

Knusperone is the house brand for cereals by the ALDI discount supermarket chains. The impactful font used for their “Premium Müsli” is Peperoncino Inline, printed with silver ink.

The flavor is rendered in Garden Grown, in white and on an angle. The key ingredients are highlighted in KG Next To Me Solid, and the percentage value in the top left corner uses Peperoncino Sans.

The Center for the History of the Resistance and Deportation of Lyon (CHRD) unveils an exquisite exhibition, complemented by a catalog that delves into the rich historical and memorial tapestry of Jean Moulin. The narrative unfolds through the perspectives of those who shared moments with him, wrote about him, or pondered over his legacy. Jean Moulin, a multifaceted figure – an artist, a prefect, a resilient resistor, a cherished friend, and a devoted brother – is brought to life through a curated collection of correspondences, artistic renderings, and poignant testimonies.

The beautiful book design was realized by Perluette & BeauFixe.

The catalog is adorned with a regal Pantone blue, elegantly sweeping across the cover, text, and as a subtle backdrop to noteworthy quotes. The layout is a meticulous dance, seamlessly alternating between thought-provoking essays, investigative revelations, and a visually captivating portfolio.

Reflecting the reported elegance that defined Jean Moulin, the choice of typography for the titles is Norman (from the Resistenza foundry). This deliberate selection not only pays homage to his character but also boldly asserts the distinctiveness of this publication, breaking away from the conventional design norms associated with recounting the somber chapters of history.

Norman Bold is used on the cover, on white and in every chapter title inside the book. It is paired with Jeremy Tribby’s Barlow.

Musa Piercing is a renowned piercing studio located in the heart of Donostia-San Sebastián. It stands out not only for its expert piercers but also for its commitment to providing a safe, welcoming, and artistic environment for its clientele.

The main fonts used for the identity are Mina and Arbotek, which can be seen in golden letters on the window as well as on business cards and other items.

Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) is the upcoming third re-recorded album by American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift, set for release on July 7, 2023, via Republic Records. It is a re-recording of Swift’s third studio album, Speak Now (2010), and follows her 2021 re-recorded albums, Fearless (Taylor’s Version) and Red (Taylor’s Version). The re-recording is a part of Swift’s counteraction to her 2019 masters dispute.

The title is set in Mina Medium in white color on a purple background, with a semi-transparent white drop shadow. “Taylor’s Version” is set with Carla Sans. The track listing mixes Carla Sans with Dolly Small Caps. The legal notice on the cassette as well as the date in the announcement use all-caps Filosofia.

Mina Medium is also used on Swift’s YouTube channel and for the promos of the album.

Alexandre Dumas gained the admiration of critics and the public with the publication of La Dame aux Camélias in 1848. It became one of the most popular novels of all times. Turquoise Inline and Turquoise are the fonts chosen for the book cover and the title on the spine of La dama de las camellias. This Spanish edition by Editorial Alma was translated by Mauro Armiño and illustrated by Maite Niebla. Turquoise Inline is also used for the initial caps of each chapter.

Floressence is a Tuscan dry gin with unmistakable aromatic notes inspired by Caterina De’ Medici, imagined in Florence. Every drop of Floressence comes from a delicate sensory balance, studied and created by an expert mixologist and perfumer. Oscar Quagliarini, Bartender Perfumer – a royal signature in the world of spirits – has studied and created the perfect synthesis of balance between balance, floral scents and eccentricity. It is inspired by the olfactory pyramid of the Queen's perfume – Caterina, ça va sans dire – created for her by René Le Florentin.

The logo is set in the Regular weight of Norman, with a golden foil. Norman is also used for the communication on social networks, paired with lettering. The accompanying serif is Feijoa.

Goliath CNC is a portable robotic tool that can cut and engrave a variety of materials, including wood, plastic, and metal. It was developed by a team of engineers and designers at Springa Srl, an Italian startup company, and was first introduced to the market in 2017.

Springa SRL choose Stencil Creek for the Goliath logo, using its alternate a – available in the first of Stencil Creek’s four stylistic sets.

The Goliath CNC machine uses a combination of sensors and software to navigate and operate on a workpiece. The sensors include a camera that captures images of the workpiece, as well as distance sensors that allow the machine to determine its position relative to the workpiece. The machine is also equipped with a router that can be fitted with a variety of bits for cutting and engraving different materials.

Basile and Resistenza have designed the logotype using original lettering. We also created elegant and contemporary packaging that differentiates itself from competitors, allowing the brand to enter the market, attracting the consumer’s attention using a Pantone gold.

For the packaging we have been using a combination of Nostalgia and The Luxx with black ink. In the word Panetto, we utilized a ligature for the double T.

The characterising element of the pack are the illustrations, which evoke the craftsmanship of the product and give the pack a vintage style in a modern key.

Few carefully calibrated elements to give the packaging authenticity and excellence. The result is a distinctive and captivating design that communicates the corporate values ​​and is aimed at an attentive consumer with a refined taste.

One more thing about the functionality of the 2022 pack: the band that acts as a handle, inserted through the cuts in the primary packaging, allows at the same time to differentiate the various references, make the product transportable without the aid of shoppers and facilitate recycling for the end user.

Timberline is used for the lyrics video for “Follow Your Heart” by Scorpions. The script typeface is shown in a beige color against a dark background. Its sleek, modern design perfectly complements the video’s theme of determination and perseverance. The font’s brushy effect style make it easy to read, while also conveying a sense of grunge and calligraphy look. Overall, the font choice creates a visually striking and engaging viewing experience for the audience watching the video.

“Best of Rock Ballads” is added in all-caps Monotype Baskerville.

The fonts used for “Love” and “Hope” are unidentified. The latter is similar to Thirsty Rough.

My Body is “a deeply honest investigation of what it means to be a woman and a commodity from Emily Ratajkowski, the archetypal, multi-hyphenate celebrity of our time”. Book jacket and spine are typeset in Norman Regular designed by Resistenza Type Foundry.

Among the options offered by the brand are the Chia Seed Protective Mask for damaged hair, the Purple Rise Moisturizing Mask; the Quinoa Colored Hair Mask, and the Goji Berry Revitalizing Mask. We spotted Modern Love Caps in use on the tubes, for “Hair Food” logo, the product name, and most other text. The line at the bottom is added in Nexa.
