Designer Rory Overdorff used Newsagent and Blackbike from Typeverything, Fairley Five and Eight from Ephemera Fonts, and LHF Chicago Script from Letterhead Fonts to create a bold and contemporary bottle design for Kennedy’s Irish Whiskey that emphasizes strong typographic presence.

The typeface’s structured yet expressive forms bring clarity and confidence to the layout, allowing the label to communicate directly and elegantly. The clean composition and modern letterforms of Newsagent anchor the visual identity, making typography the hero of the piece.

Graphic identity for L’Escale, a space for relaxation, revitalization, and civic engagement hosted by Mutuelles de France at Fête de l’Humanité.

Over three days, L’Escale presents a dynamic program of debates, health prevention workshops, and activist gatherings focused on public health, solidarity, and social rights.

Odd Forms Studio crafted a vibrant and inclusive visual universe, from logo design to signage, editorial content, and social media templates.

The typographic pairing of Noland and Modale Antique plays a central role in this identity. Noland, with its contemporary geometry and humanist undertones, conveys accessibility and clarity—echoing L’Escale’s role as a welcoming and pedagogical space. Modale Antique, with its grounded presence and subtly retro character, evokes collective memory and civic heritage—resonating with the event’s activist and social ambitions.

This carefully balanced typographic approach supports a visual language rooted in openness, popular education, and conviviality—values that lie at the heart of L’Escale.

Dolly Parton: Behind the Seams celebrates the country music legend’s “passion for fashion” and provides an inside look at her distinctive fashion style. The tome features 450 photographs and includes items from Parton’s private costume archive.

Designed by Annie Marino, the book’s design and typography translates these rhinestones and floral patterns into graphic form. It is primarily set in Commercial Type’s Canela, designed by Miguel Reyes. Ilham Herry’s Caniste and EFCO Songster are beautifully set on the bright pink cover and title page.

And I am thrilled to see Crayonette DJR (my revival of the 1889 typeface Crayonette) used throughout the book as an accent typeface. Its ornate and whimsical design are a perfect fit for the subject matter, and it echoes Parton’s previous use of Crayonette’s older cousin, Crayon, on her 1990 album Home for Christmas.

“Kentucky After Dark” is an advertising campaign devised by indie agency Coomer, on behalf of a collective of small local Kentucky tourism boards. The campaign aims to highlight local spooky and paranormal folklore to draw people to lesser-known sites throughout the state, using a passport program. The passport contains imagery and descriptions of each location, as well as fill-in sections for participants.

The campaign's primary logo is custom-lettered by designer Jason Carne. Supporting typography on the passport is set in EFCO Colburn and Thanatos, a typeface originally designed for a horror film, with some Las Vegas Fabulous. The website additionally uses Basement Grotesque.

New Horizons is a brand which provides services in the field of tourism and travel in Italy. It offers complete travel packages: in addition to the accommodation, it allows the tourists to discover the artistic and cultural beauty of Bel Paese, the food and wine produced by local producers, and the nature trails. It works both for individuals and companies in order to promote the intangible cultural heritage of Italy. I designed the visual identity of New Horizons: natural and sunny colors, vintage and cozy fonts – Genty and Genty Sans – and illustrations which help to better imagine the holidays in Italy. The latter are by Chiaramente.

NewJeans is a five-member South Korean girl group, releasing music under the native ADOR record label. Promotions for the group first started on 22 July 2022, with their first music video “Attention” being released on streaming service YouTube. Their eponymous debut EP was released on August 1, 2022.

Under the management of South Korean art director and graphic designer Min Hee-Jin, NewJeans donned on a Y2K-inspired image. It trickles down from fashion to the typography used in their promotional artworks, favouring flourishes and display types prominently used in the late ’90s and early ’00s.

Unlike typical brands, many people were commissioned to create several logos for NewJeans, giving their identity more fluidity within its early millennium look. The wordmarks encompass styles found in the era, from the likes of brands like Bratz, Heelys and The Powerpuff Girls, to name a few.

While custom lettering was used, there are still many fonts being applied on the logos. An anonymous Twitter user named @newjeansfonts has taken the liberty to search and curate all the utilised typefaces on a dedicated website. A Reddit user has also compiled the various logos in its animated form, likely extracted from the artists’ Instagram pages. Their official logo consists of a hybrid of various fonts being used in different glyphs, altogether being faux-condensed.

Sprinkled throughout the site and merch, you'll find Genty and Cheee, alongside other fonts. Everything was designed in-house by the Cards Against Humanity design team.
