Hiroshi Yamashita

Hiroshi Yamashita was born in Yokohama in 1937. He graduated from Tama Art University in 1959 and moved to the United States in 1962. He studied abroad in the Art Students League of New York, worked at Liberty House Schaedler Inc., and opened H. Yamashita Studio. [Shin Oka] Designer of the Alpha series for Schaedler.

Taro Yamashita was “a lettering artist and photo technician at the Schaedler studio [who] helped design and develop the products now known as Schaedler Precision Rules. [Schaedler Quinzel Inc.] This is probably the same person.
