Gallardía’s visual identity was developed in collaboration with interior designer Elisa Uriarte, aligning the branding with the architecture of the historic house that hosts the café in Montevideo, Uruguay. The project responds to a distinct cultural context: while Uruguay has an emerging specialty coffee scene, mate—a traditional infusion widely consumed in the Southern Cone—remains the dominant everyday beverage. Creating a brand with a strong presence within this landscape required selecting a typeface with greater weight and character, moving away from the neutrality of a standard sans serif to establish a more defined visual voice. The logomark references the café’s interior lighting concept, taking inspiration from the light strokes incorporated into the spatial design. For the launch campaign, phrases were developed to reflect Uruguay’s cultural backdrop, including “drinking coffee in a country that drinks mate.”

Visual communication for La tendresse des murs, the fall 2025 exhibition organized by Les Ateliers des Arques in the media libraries of the Cazals-Salviac Community of Municipalities in France.

The titles are set in Dida, while smalle text uses two weights from Syne.

Graphic design studio Claudia Eggimann created a self-initiated project to raise awareness and enhance joy in eating despite allergies, cross-reactions, intolerances and food issues. happybelly is a collection of self-created and tested recipes and a sharing of experiences – all vegan, gluten free & towards sattvic.

The branding is sweet, playful still graphical with a modern twist. It addresses affected kids and adults who can't contribute to “normal” food culture and have to stick to a strict diet.

The main focus lays on a website, designed and programmed in-house with Cargo. With bold titles, set in Syne, photographs made out of the blue, portraying homemade dishes and clean lines in a readable font. The design allows for some small surprises, like tilted, floating photographs and animated icons. The latter are from the IKONEN font that was designed during the Corona pandemic when the world was locked down.

There is also a social media channel in construction and physical advertising like flyers. As also more to come.

The futuristic DOSS Exaflop by Marc Rouault was seen on a can at this year’s Wire Festival. PURE° X-TRACT is a sparkling water brand designed for culturally aware, intentional consumers—particularly those drawn to nightlife settings but not necessarily to alcohol. With a focus on globally inspired, sophisticated flavors, PURE blends clean design with sensory depth. The drink comes in three flavors: Pure, Pandan, and Calamansi. All variants are sugar-free and have zero calories, emphasizing purity and taste without additives.

DOSS Exaflop is paired with a yet unidentified monospaced sans [edit: it’s ABC Rom Mono, see comments] on the cans and with Syne on the website.

KOTA is one of the leading web design agencies in the UK. Our typography is all about balance: clean, contemporary, and just the right touch of character to stand out.

Our primary typeface, Neue Montreal, is the unsung hero of our brand. This sans-serif family is versatile and refreshingly contemporary, perfect for keeping our look sharp and polished. It’s not here to steal the show, though; Syne is used sparingly, only appearing in straplines, small page titles, or breadcrumbs to add a visual accent. It’s the design furniture of our brand – the details that tie everything together without overpowering the core message.

Their website, also redesigned, is set in Syne and Roboto.

Design agency Vas‑y Paulette is flying with Chambéry Solidarité Internationale towards a new project with global ambition: Les Oiseaux migrateurs (“Migratory Birds”).

Chambéry Solidarité Internationale offers fifteen residencies in Chambéry, France. Vas-y Paulette meets them and tells their story, from leaving their country of origin to their arrival and settling in Chambéry. The agency coordinates the overall artistic direction of the project, including the photo part. The result is an aesthetic book for gourmets that presents life stories and dishes.

Imprinted from elsewhere and from others, in this nest, there are: meetings, a book which presents stories of lives and dishes, an exhibition, educational activities and culinary workshops in order to defend the idea that cooking brings people together and creates encounters. The heart of the project is concentrated in a book bringing together 15 portraits and cooking recipes. Vas‑y Paulette tells these stories and coordinates the overall artistic direction of the project, including the photo part.

Logo and headlines are set in Voyage; the accompanying sans serif is Syne.

Clube Share is a learning platform/community focused on helping workers from the “creative economy” to better organize their business.

The main brand typeface is Graúna. It’s supported by a number of other fonts, including Sofia Black, Freestyle Script, Syne Extra, and BioRhyme Expanded. Work Sans is used for most text on the website. The logo appears to be custom drawn.

Curated by Stéphanie Chendjou, Ndaane is a platform for emerging African fashion talents to get discovered and tell their stories, passion, and challenges through thoughtful curation. We worked with Ndaane to refine their brand positioning and redesign its brand identity.

Stéphanie came to The Blackpepper Studio (TBP) because Ndaane didn’t have a clear and distinctive visual identity. She wanted the brand to be quickly identified in the crowd. We designed Ndaane’s brand identity with this in mind.

The typefaces were paired to establish an editorial feel while maintaining a radical contrast in the communication. As a platform for emerging talents, we wanted to create a recognisable display where talent’s names stand out in headlines or a body of text. To achieve this, we introduced Syne by Bonjour Monde and Lucas Descroix in the Bold weight to highlight talents’ names and words of interest while Boogy Brut Poster White by Julien Priez (Bureau Brut) with its true contemporary style creates the perfect visual interest and contrast. Body copy is set in Work Sans by Wei Huang.

The artists from the workshop presented a unique OK typeface design, a live coding music performance by DJ Spinelli, a metallic sculpture, various video projections, an interactive laser installation, freshly prepared cosmic food, and an original ceramic piece.

Brand identity and website for TriFlorals, a wedding and event florist in Raleigh, NC. The identity, designed by Big Fog, features Cristian Vargas' gorgeous Salvaje Display in the logo, which is paired with Windsor for headlines, Syne Bold for subheadlines, and Pretend Foundry’s Pinopolis for body copy. TriFlorals approached us wanting to create a brand that was different than your typical florist. They wanted to stick out from the traditional wedding crowd with a welcoming energy. One of their main goals is to “demystify flowers” and encourage people to “get hands on stems”—to make the joy of working with flowers less intimidating and more accessible.

As it says on their website, Science™ really does say that looking at flowers makes you feel better, so we wanted the TriFlorals brand to feel like stumbling on a field of bright blooms, like the first day of Spring all the time. We created their logo and brand identity (including brand fonts, brand colors, and brand illustrations), and then designed and built their WordPress website. The site features a growing collection of illustrations and animations.

Poschstyle is the website of Anna Posch. Started as a beauty & fashion blog, it has evolved into a site about “body awareness, yoga, fitness, nutrition, and love for oneself”. The website pairs Operetta 12 with various styles from the Syne family.

Was it Chamo who wanted to tell the story of this odious and rude snake, or was it the snake who forced her to write her biography? History doesn't say it, but the album is a treat! Despite the bad character of the main character and the laziness of the author ... Yes, because you can imagine that annoyed by this rascal, she left it to the reader to complete and color the album!

The coloring book Ssserpent was written and illustrated by Chamo, using ZIGZAG and bb-book B Regular from Benoît Bodhuin. Smaller text uses Futura. The handwriting typeface is all-caps Syne Italic by Bonjour Monde and Lucas Descroix.

I am a creative director and multidisciplinary designer from Brooklyn, NY. For my portfolio, I use a mix of Messapia, Sporting Grotesque for headline copy and Space Grotesk for body copy. I also incorporated a little of Sprat Medium Extended on my homepage and some Wingdings characters for symbols.

Artwork for the single “per avorriment” created during the quarantine by the duo Jo Jet i Maria Ribot and the actress and singer Laia Fontàn. The title is written in Parabole by Dávid Molnár (2019) and the artists' names are set in Syne Bold by Bonjour Monde and Lucas Descroix (2017).

Synesthésie ¬ MMAINTENANT is an art center in Saint-Denis, in the very close vicinity of Paris, France. Since 2017, Bonjour Monde has been in charge of their identity. For this purpose they created the (now open-source) type family Syne, as the cornerstone of the whole visual language, paired with plain colors and monotone images.

Aiming at giving the art center a sort of visual autonomy, Bonjour Monde created a few tools, so that the team can produce their own material. ‘Stuttttter ¬ MMIRAGE’ is one of them: a browser-based program to easily create flyers. All one needs to do is to insert a title, an image and pick a color, then play around with a set of sliders. Once a satisfying visual as been produced, it can be exported in the required resolution. For the back side, same idea, very few buttons giving only options for the number of columns and some basic text-styling.

The use of ‘crop-and-repeat’ is inspired by the idea of stuttering as phrased by French artist Matthieu Saladin (one of the art center's closest collaborators): “One gets aware of one’s own time when the present starts stuttering.”

The first few flyers, shown here, have been designed by Bonjour Monde, as a testing phase for the protocol. The ones to come after will be designed by the art center's team.

Founded in December 2017 by Anaïs Allias and Margaux Salarino, Temple is an independent magazine for art, fashion and graphic experimentation. It features contemporary designers and artists. The images are constructed by a principle of appropriation, reintervention and collage based on the contributions sent. The magazine consists of interviews, conversations and essays by creators gathered around a different theme in each issue.

The 7th issue of Temple magazine revolves around the theme “No Limit”. It features several photography series and interviews, in a daring layout making good use of Bonjour Monde’s Syne as well as several display typefaces by Groupe CCC and hand-drawn letterings by Anaïs Allias.

Several bookmarks are included in the issue, created by guest designers (Axel Pelletanche, Mathieu Selvatici, Matthieu Michaut, Revue Diorama, Golgotha).

Longsleeve shirt released by Mythical Entertainment, web-content company owned by YouTube music and comedy duo Rhett & Link, who gained mainstream fame mostly for their weekday-morning unscripted talk show Good Mythical Morning.

It's been interesting to see them branch out into merchandise not directly related to their content and experiment with more streetwear-style clothing, and it's also been interesting to see more and more typography creep in as it has throughout cutting-edge fashion.

Le Murmure, from Velvetyne, makes a nice appearance here and the word “Mythical” lets it show off its distinctive terminals. The forced variable width applied to the side text (now identified as Syne Extra by the desiger, thanks Caleb!) is … an interesting choice that works a lot better on the R than the W. The small green serif (in which “Creativity Through Curiosity Since” is set) appears to be Avara, another nice Velvetyne pick. Fit lives up to its name and gives this highly neu-grunge design the requisite outlined bold type.

Overall, pretty fun design, and sleeve prints are especially hot right now. I’d love to know where they sourced the central illustration.

The Haute École des Arts du Rhin, an art and music school based in Strasbourg, France, invited Cameroonian artist Hervé Youmbi for a one-year workshop with the students, starting in the spring of 2018. This long-term work, including theoretical writings, museum visits and art productions, ended with an exhibition in March 2019.

This book is the result of all these activities accompanying Hervé Youmbi's exhibition, with which it forms a three-part dialogue. A text by the artist and the visual montage entitled Scream masks serve as a general opening (FROM YOUMBI). Then come three theoretical contributions placing his approach in a broader context (AROUND YOUMBI), and finally the part relating to the workshop, presenting the artistic proposals of the students involved (BEYOND YOUMBI).

The book uses Syne Extra for the cover and titles, but also for the footnotes and illustration references. The text is entirely set in Iowan Old Style. Prestige Elite, Roboto Mono Thin, FreeSans and Futura all make a small cameo in the students' projects (not pictured).
