For the exhibition, a dynamic motion identity was crafted, encompassing the exhibition, merchandise, marketing materials, and installation. This visual identity celebrates the fluidity and transformation inherent in Arsham's work, reflecting his artistic evolution over 20 years. A bespoke, generatively configured wordmark interacts with a dynamic image grid, creating a sense of movement and change. Complemented by All Purpose Grotesk, the aesthetic mirrors Arsham’s meticulous, technical approach.

The exhibition showcases previously unseen photography, capturing the essence of Arsham's distinct artistic phases. This identity ensures visual harmony within Arsham's work, extending to merchandise and marketing across Manhattan. Emphasizing transformation with minimal inputs, the design embodies Arsham's philosophy, with motion and fluidity underscoring the relationship between technology, light, space, and variation, creating an immersive experience for Fotografiska New York visitors.

Slop is a magazine about produce, published seasonally. This is the first issue, released in Summer 2023.

The publication explores amazing things being grown, harvested, and bottled across the world. Whether it's fish canned on the south coast of England or wine made in the Slovakian mountains, the aim is to give people a chance to showcase their produce.

The magazine features are typeset in All Purpose Grotesk and Synt, creating a cohesive design throughout.

Buzz and Superette are used for headlines and feature titles.

Catalogue!!!, a new collaborative zine from Dazed and IKEA, launching at the Milan Design Week, explores the meaning of home for young people today, as “the first environment you have the freedom to design, the first spot that embodies your taste, the first space you can author as your own”.

Born out of a deep dive into the IKEA archive – as well as conversations between Jefferson Hack and Ingka Group (IKEA Retail) creative director Marcus Engman – Catalogue!!! shines a spotlight on different, radical types of living, from live-in tattoo parlours, to micro-apartments and communal housing schemes, with a specific lens on a younger generation making the transition into their first homes.

The zine’s inventive format splits its pages into two distinct halves: one showcasing vibrant A2 pull-out posters, perfect for adorning any space with an edgy flair, while the other functions as a tabloid newspaper, delivering cutting-edge content in an unconventional package.

The bold and versatile All Purpose Grotesk punctuates each page with its distinctive presence. With its clean lines and contemporary feel, it serves as a striking contrast to the zine’s raw, punk-inspired imagery and design.

The magazine logo appears to be lettered, possibly inspired by Betatron from CoType Foundry which has similar (but less heavy) lettershapes.

Filmmaker and photographer Peter Sutherland was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and raised in Colorado. Small Town Kids Need Something To Do is a collection of Sutherland’s physical works from 2013–15, paired with a companion photo essay, and a foreword and interview by Francesca Gavin. The hardback book was published by Lichen Books and launched on the 4th of May 2023 at the WASTE! Store in London. In celebration of the release, Sutherland sent over a selection of his collages to show alongside the book.

Phantom Presence: Eddie Salinas invites readers into the captivating world of artist Eddie Salinas, whose work is a mesmerizing blend of drama and beauty. Through striking visuals and poignant narratives, this book delves deep into Salinas's artistic journey, exploring the nuances of his creations with vivid detail.

At the heart of the book lies the typography, meticulously crafted with All Purpose Grotesk to mirror the intensity and elegance of Salinas's work. Each letter is a testament to the artist's vision, drawing readers into a realm where art and expression intertwine seamlessly.

In addition to Salinas's masterpieces, Phantom Presence features renowned artists Cali Dewitt, Jim Mangan, and Peter Sutherland. Their contributions add layers of depth to the narrative, offering unique perspectives on Salinas’s artistry and its impact on contemporary culture.

Since its inception, Orienteer has taken the print format of an old Ordnance Survey map. Moving in a progressive direction, the mapazine has transformed into a 240-page print magazine.

The theme of issue 08 is “Deimatic Behaviour”. This term refers to the pattern of bluffing that an animal can display in defence. This fear of nature is seen across all forms of wildlife, especially butterflies, moths and small creatures like birds and insects.

The publication includes a foldout map by Charlie Constantinou and 66North. It comes in four cover variants: MM6 Cani-X, Stian Sommerseth, Great Monarch, and Johanna Parv .

AP Adapt is a custom variable dot matrix typeface, used throughout the magazine.

The All Purpose × Agaric Fly incense package was a thoughtfully designed gift to make your space smell fragrant. The pack contains 20 mini incense sticks with a blend of oakmoss, seaweed, and earthy scents. This limited run of 200 packs was created in January 2023 and features All Purpose Grotesk and AP Frowup on its packaging design.

We're super happy to announce the release of our first Left Alone Zine, released in conjunction with our Nosedrip and Steele Bonus party on 01.07.17.

Issue one features interviews with Nosedrip and Steele Bonus, alongside some artwork from Lucien Lucien, plus an exclusive yellow C90 cassette with a mix from both Nosedrip and Steele along with some Left Alone stickers. The zines are 32pp printed full colour A5, on 130gsm gloss stock, in an original limited run of 50.

Our Place studio designed the zine using their own OP Grotesque (designed by Alex Gross) and Spectral, Production Type’s open-source family that had just been released through Google Fonts at the time. Initially intended for screen use, this is very likely Spectral's first printed use.
