Visuals for open call and exhibition catalogue for CLimATE. In autumn 2019, Helsinki-based Aalto University reached out to the Aalto community – artists, students and researchers – to submit proposals for inclusion in an exhibition about the future of food and climate. The design by Joosung Kang uses RL Unno and a Suisse Int’l.

Brand identity framework and website for the fashion retailer Maison Rogue. The site’s visual profile is playful, appealing and direct. Typefaces include RL Unno, Neue World and MNKY Banana Grotesk.

New website for the Paris-based landscape and town planning agency Les Rondeaux, designed by République Studio. The project includes multiples modules that they can play with to create unique pages. Web development by Quentin Creuzet.

Seoul Design Festival 2019: Seoul Edition. Design by Joosung Kang in collaboration with Hyunsong Lee, under art direction of Dongho So and OTC (spatial design). From the Fuori Salone magazine website :

The Seoul Design Festival is a design-specialized exhibition based on contents accumulated by DESIGN magazine since 1976 and networks of domestic and foreign design industry. The first Seoul Design Festival was held in 2002. Seoul Design Festival is designed to enhance design competitiveness of domestic and foreign brands by showing design trends along with corporate brands with the motto “Designer Promotion.” Also, it has been grown into a place of exchange to support domestic designers’ expansion to the world and introduce world designers to the domestic market.

The typography pairs RL Refusit with a yet unidentified Hangul typeface throughout. On the posters, Helvetica and another Hangul typeface are used for smaller text.

RL RW (Regular Lines, 2018) in use for an event hosted by Subbacultcha at DOK in Ghent, Belgium. The identity was designed by Chloé D’hauwe. The lineup included Bladee, FAKA, Coucou Chloe, Erika de Casier, Juan Wauters, and Lauren Auder. From Resident Advisor:

Different class is coming home to the ever-beautiful DOK-complex, where it all once began. As usual, we’ll be looking at a trailblazing, eclectic and multidisciplinary line-up. This music oasis located on the towpath of the canal has invited Swedish Drain Gang’s autotune rapper Bladee to headline the game. After an overdue performance in the flatlands that fans couldn’t wait for anymore, the South African, gqom-influenced, music and performance duo FAKA has confirmed their flights to join the party. Also, on the roster is none other than French post-club virtuoso Coucou Chloe who will follow the steps of last year’s Oklou’s beautiful performance. Subba hasn’t forgotten about those who only swear by the strings as indie troubadour Uruguayan-American Juan Wauters has been called to give some musical texture to those sangrias we’ll all be sipping on. Gothic pop gem Lauren Auder has also agreed to make an appearance and will perform the perfect soundtrack for a tragic romance. Finally, to reaffirm that there’s something happening in scandinavian scene, Erika de Casier has been invited to keep this whole lineup pure and warm with her nocturnal R&B pop ballads.
