homesickness is “an annual zine that centers the work of filmmakers and artists of color”. It offers a platform for film and art that reaches towards ancestral lineages which re-contextualize our present and build community across divides. The publication aims to create a space where artists of color can find themselves in each other’s art and form relationships.

Volume 02, measuring 10″×8″ and counting 374 pages, “leans into a certain tension inherent to process—the in-between, the “not-yet,” the moments when artists are neither promoting nor premiering, but instead grappling, searching, questioning.”

The publication, co-edited by Alfonso Morgan-Terrero and Kevin Xian Ming Yu, was designed by Andrea Mato using Exposure by 205TF, and Public Sans by the United States Web Design System. ISBN: 817525766-0

A few snapshots from HoodieHut, a UK-based small business specialising in school leavers hoodies. The website uses Public Sans for the titles and Karla for paragraph text. Then a combination of Druk Wide and Druk is used for more stylised graphics.

Best known for finishing as a runner-up in the The Apprentice (2006, UK edition), Ruth Badger has spent the almost two decades since quietly building one of the most effective and revered business consultancies in the country. To coincide with a new strategic direction for the business and the expansion of the senior leadership team to four equal partners, a new, refined brand was created, sporting an abbreviated name, RBC, that placed more emphasis on the business as a whole and spread the spotlight to beyond just Ruth.

The primary brand typeface is Bueno, used in all caps from the Semi Bold. It’s supported by Public Sans and Victor Serif Italic.

Website design for the recently launched hoodiehut.co.uk — a UK based hoodie printing company who provide personalised hoodies for schools, colleges, and universities. (Most notably, the classic end of year Leavers Hoodies)

I used a combination of Public Sans (regular and extra bold) for the titles and Karla (regular and bold) for the body text.
