A large series by Stempel. The first nine styles were designed by Heinrich Hoffmeister and issued in 1906–1910; four weights, three of them with italics, and two condensed styles [Reichardt 2011]. These were also available with Cyrillic characters [Wetzig 1926–40]. Säculum-Zirkular is the italic with swash caps. Later extended with a Kursiv fett, a Kursiv without overhangs (1926), and a Kursiv licht (open italic caps, 1928). Partly adapted for the Linotype and also cast by Jezynskiego (as Labor), ldżkowski (as Minerwa), and Slévárna (as Moravia) [Reichardt 2011].
