“Originally drawn in 2009, Peggs’ overall DNA was based upon
monospaced typewriter fonts. Upon inspection we noticed that when
printed, some of these earlier types gained unintended
characteristics via the crass print processes they were subjected
to (think under-, and over-inking). We took these unintentional
moments and utilised them as characteristics — through the strokes
that don’t quite join up and the pooling of colour in certain

have now revisited the design, fully redrawing the forms, respacing
