Breitfette Unziale in use. An uncial alphabet (without ‘J'), shown in Lettera 3 (1968), credited to Walter Haettenschweiler and Armin Haab, 1967. Based on uncial letterforms from Roman times, with missing glyphs added by Haettenschweiler. Distributed [as film type?] by Agentur Rolf Bangerter. [Swiss Type Design]

A phototype adaptation is shown in Photoscript’s 1970 catalog. Carried by Solotype as Steinway [Dan X. Solo: Gothic and Old English Alphabets, 1984]

Capital Ideas 2 NF (Nick’s Fonts, 2012) includes a reversed version in the lowercase. See also BM Breitfette Unziale (2022) for another digitization.

Lombardic caps paired with a reverse contrast slab? Yes. And if that’s not enough, there are some soundwave-like lines emanating from the p in the word hop.
