A bottom-heavy wood typeface from the late 19th or early 20th century. Shown as Series 4009–4019 in a specimen by Swiss manufacturer A. Martin & Cie. “Betanos” is not a name, just an arbitrary sample text. Similar designs are shown as Série E in a specimen by Fonderie Typographique Française – produced by Martin [Nunes] – and as Series 2235–2242 in a specimen by Jacoby & fils.

Bet is a revival made by Diorama Type Partners for their first issue of Diorama Revue in 2018.
