The old knights' estate Gut Bennigsen in the countryside near Hanover, Germany, is a manor first documented in 1311. One of the decendants inherited the estate some years ago and turned it into a space for events and concerts with further plans to expand the experience.

Transatlantika created a visual identity and promotes Gut Bennigsen concerts and events with marketing campaigns. This promotional brochure explains the concept of Gut Bennigsen. It talks about the rich history of the place and future development plans.

The Gut Bennigsen logo features the name‘s phonetic spelling to make it pronouncable in an international setting. It also puts the brand into a literary and cultural context.

Austrian festival Electric Love is a major electronic music event known for its high-energy atmosphere and dynamic visual identity. For its visual identity, Moodley crafted a bold and electrifying design that encapsulates the festival’s vibrant spirit. The visual system relies heavily on expressive typography, dynamic color gradients, and fluid motion to reflect the festival’s fusion of music, technology, and community.

The festival's branding uses a combination of Gustavo and Purple Haze to create a striking and futuristic aesthetic in promotional materials, stage visuals, and digital assets. These typefaces contribute to the electric and immersive feel of the festival’s communication, enhancing its identity with sharp angles, neon-inspired hues, and a sense of movement.

For the logo, FK Screamer was chosen to embody the raw energy and bold personality of the festival. An italic version with a few graphic glitches creates the wordmark.

Uploader is a project that uses the podcast as a tool to make known the stories of young people who know how to be an inspiration for other local children: projects, personal paths, ambitions, hardships and dreams that come true.

An underground graphic, as the project wants to be, that is a story of out-of-the-ordinary stories, difficult stories of people often “labeled” by society.

Verzonnen lichaam explores a sensual relationship between two women, blending love, power, and art. In this debut novel, two writers—one young, one older—discover each other through desire and the search for expression in words. Siska Baeck's intimate and daring story pushes the boundaries of literature, offering a deeply personal journey through ever-changing life experiences.

The title on the cover is shown in lowercase letters from FK Screamer, with an omitted i dot and two interlinear ligatures. The author’s name is added in Reckless Neue; “roman” is in Specials. The text in the interior is set in Monotype Garamond, with accents in FK Screamer.

On the occasion of the 2024 Ice Hockey World Championship in the Czech Republic, the National Gallery Prague presented an exhibition titled Na led! / Get on the Ice! that opened up the theme of skating and hockey in visual art.

The exhibition featured approximately 100 works of art using various techniques. There were paintings by old masters such as Pieter Brueghel the Younger and Norbert Grund, as well as by the most prominent figures of 19th-century Czech art and with a section dedicated to nine contemporary artists who have created new works relating to hockey.

The visual identity, exhibition graphics, printed matter and exhbition catalogue used two typefaces. PUQ was created by Slovakian type designer Simona Császárová for her bachelor project 170 gramov šťastia (“170 grams of happiness”). This typeface is based on the strokes of in the shape of hockey sticks. FK Screamer by Florian Karsten is used for headlines.

Help Scout is a shared inbox solution and support platform used by customer-centric organizations around the world. Help Scout’s creative director, Matt Plays, led the development of Help Scout’s new visual identity, alongside an in-house brand evolution crew that spanned brand and product design teams. The rebrand signifies a shift into a more confident and product-led chapter for the company, which is reflected in the expressive type system and product-centric visuals used throughout the new website.

Help Scout’s VP of Brand, Kristen Bryant Smith, said of the rebrand, “We wanted our brand to reflect the simplicity and power of our product while emphasizing our belief that human interaction is at the core of strong customer experiences. We also needed to be bolder and more opinionated in order to stand out in a competitive market.”

Kristen goes on to say “Bold typography brings our messaging to life and compounds the impact of our visuals. Our type stack now includes expressive headlines and specialized faces for display, blockquotes, and more. This adds emphasis to the copy, making it easier — and more important — to make a statement.” Help Scout uses Garnett Bold as their primary headline font, GT America for an ultra-readable body text, FK Screamer for a display face, Victor Serif for an editorial flourish in sub-headlines, vanity metrics, and block quotes, and Space Mono for overlines, details, and annotations.

Branding and web design for Event Republic Studio, a female-led boutique event agency in London that specializes in bespoke creative design.

We wanted to create an identity aligned to their spirit; that could express modernity, something bold but also something thin and elegant. This identity reflects contrast, where minimalism and the sense of detail coexist perfectly, particularly through the contrast of the typefaces (thin vs. bold).

New website and identity for Fresh Fonts, designed by Kolaps from Barcelona, with web development by Reveal Studio. Fresh Fonts is an independent publishing house based in Lausanne, Switzerland. They publish a monthly newsletter featuring a curated selection of new font releases from independent type designers and small foundries from all around the world.

For the expression of the brand, we start from the idea of uniting its creative and human tone with the fresh and innovative typefaces that are put at the forefront in their newsletter, without outshining them. Through the use of vibrant colors, dynamic condensed type, and lighthearted illustrations in the form of geometrical shapes — that represent the variety of services present in the company’s offering — we managed to give the brand an affable yet bold character, illustrating its spirit and its values.

The logo is set in NB International, which is also used throughout their digital material for supporting text and main copy, including on the email newsletter. The condensed, all-caps titling font is FK Screamer, making use of its backslanted and italic styles as well, and the variable font version was used to create stunning font animations on the website.

In cooperation with the Czech Olympic Team I have designed the first comprehensive publication for the legend of Czechoslovak sports photographer Karel Novák (1925–2007). From the archive of more than 200,000 photographs, Karel Novák: malíř sportu (“sports painter“) introduces Karel Novák in 272 pages as a passionate sports photographer who covered a wide range of sports. He captured eight olympics and dozens of world championships in various popular sports. Among other things, he photographed renowned sport legends from his home country for many years, including multiple Olympics champions: Věra Čáslavská, Jiří Daler, Dana and Emil Zátopek, tennis legends Martina Navrátilová, Jan Kodeš, and more.

Reckless from Displaay Type Foundry is used for body copy. Headlines are set in FK Screamer Slanted by Florian Karsten. The cover uses both.

Agricola Ridolfi, located in the heart of Romagna (Italy), specializes in the production of IGP Nectarine peaches. In addition to passion and expertise that allow it to offer a product of excellence, they have decided to make a corporate rebranding.

We designed the logo, visual identity and presented a study of packaging for e-commerce. Quality, territoriality and summer are the three elements that the company wants to convey. For this, inside the boxes, there are a tote bag and a postcard with a peach-based recipe and a Spotify playlist created ad hoc for a perfect summer mood.

The logotype is set in FK Screamer by Florian Karsten and Averia Serif by Dan Sayers. The additional types used for the brand are Red Hat Display by Jeremy Mickel and Stash by Jason Vandenberg.

Since when has your Saturday morning not been amazing? Imagined by Marine, Bécot is a creator of morning events based in Paris. Her speciality is to offer galvanising moments by combining sport, DJ, music, breakfast, on a Saturday morning, in a variety of venues. The aim of this movement: to get together, to wake up, to dance. Prior to its official launch in 2021, we were asked to create the graphic identity for these events.

Based on an in-house typographic design, composed of thick, solid but appealing letters, the logo hides both a smile and a rising sun. We have then developed a graphic territory based on bold typographic choices, and a collection of generative and colourful textures, illustrating the spirit of the events. Rendez-vous during the first half of 2021 in Paris for the first galvanised mornings.

To promote and commemorate the release of Martin Scorsese's The Irishman, Netflix underwent a month-long activation across two cities. An 8-page broadsheet newspaper was produced, taking audiences back to August 1, 1975, the day after Teamster boss Jimmy Hoffa was reported missing to federal authorities.

At showings at New York's historic Belasco Theater, copies of The Irishman Daily were stocked in newspaper receptacles adorned with political stickers from the era. Next to those, interactive phone booths played clips from the film on a small screen when you picked up the receiver.

In the pages of The Irishman Daily, auxiliary stories fill out the world of Scorsese's decades-spanning epic. True crime drama sits among stories of the day, like the MTA increasing subway fare to 50 cents and the Yankees hiring the notorious Billy Martin. Arts and sports pages are filled out with classified listings, standings, and music charts. On the back, an ad paying homage to Frank Sheeran's chosen profession sits below a map guiding visitors to Netflix's Little Italy takeover promoting the film.

The design of the paper drew inspiration from the splashy, photo-heavy New York Daily News, while elements from the Brooklyn Daily Eagle, New York Times and Detroit Free Press influenced the denser interior layout. One anachronistic indulgence is Florian Karsten's Screamer, used only for the front page hammer head. Distressed Futura and ParaType’s SchoolBook round out the headline typography. The newspaper logo is an adaptation of the movie’s logo in all-caps ITC Grouch. Bushwick JNL is used for the word “FINAL” on the left side of the masthead.

Among the fonts used for the ads are Optima (Giovanni I. Russo), Akzidenz-Grotesk Condensed (Jimmy’s Last Stop) and Moret (St. Luke’s).

Downward Facing Dogs is a Dutch short movie about Mara who lets go of her frustrations during a yoga class. It is screened at the Nederlands Film Festival 2019 (Dutch Film Festival).

I wanted to use a display condensed typeface for this poster that works best when used as big as possible. The use of Florian Karsten’s FK Screamer was perfect because of its small details when applied big, its modern look and tight spacing.

The poster is printed on neon orange paper with a bitmap raster applied on the image of the eyes of the main character.
