A set of ornate concave caps with trifurcated serifs and contour, or double inline. Apparently based on an alphabet drawn and engraved by Jules Girault and reproduced in his Album graphique from 1867. Shown by Photo-Lettering as Queen Victoria, together with a solid variant named Grand Old Coach [PLINC 1950]. Shown in the Solotype Catalog (1992) as Carillon Condensed.
Trefoil Capitals (Paul Lloyd, 2002, used for sample) and Purcell (Scriptorium, 2010?) are digital interpretations of the same design.
