“Among the very first hand­writ­ten script fonts offered by Filmo­type in the begin­ning of the 1950s, Filmo­type LaSalle was designed by Ray Baker, a former Letter­ing Inc employee at the time who named the face after LaSalle street in down­town Chicago.” [Canada Type]

Copied by VGC as A-82 [VGC 1969] and shown by Typeshop as Nesselrode. [Typeshop c.1977]

Patrick Griffin and Rebecca Alaccari made an official digitization in 2008. Previously digitized by Elsner+Flake (as LaSalle EF) and Scangraphic (as LaSalle SB).
