In 2024, Goodbois collaborated with the German rap/pop artist CRO to create a custom bomber jacket for his upcoming tour in Germany. The design was inspired by an earlier piece from the Goodbois Dream Pack ’23, where this character first appeared. The idea was to merge CRO’s iconic character with it, while also incorporating the signature Alaca College typeface that plays a central role in the Goodbois universe.

To give the jacket a classic yet timeless edge, the design placed Nautica at the forefront—presented in a circular motif that symbolized a true ‘full circle moment’. On the inside, a personal detail was added: a stitched-in photo of CRO from 2009, when he wore a Goodbois tank top for the very first time, closing the loop between past and present.

The sweaters shown at the bottom are leftover concept explorations, showcasing how the design could have been reimagined for colorful knitwear and additional pieces.

Goodbois is embarking on a new chapter of collections with the introduction of the Ball Pack, which features both the Bold and Regular styles of Marvin Visions. This typeface was inspired by a post on this website about Touchdown Illustrated Vol. 1 (1973). The sportiness of this collection is highlighted through the use of Marvin and the imagery of colorful shirts and woven labels, which draw inspiration from posters of the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich and their vibrant color themes. Overall, the Ball Pack collection is an exciting and dynamic fusion of typography, sport, and design.

Alaca proofs itself as the perfect match for any basketball typeface for Goodbois like in previous collections that are showcased on this font design community.

The college jacket has always been a big part of the sports and hiphop culture. Growing up heavily inspired by this nostalgic silhouette, it plays a constant and continued role in the Goodbois product range. The updated version of our alumni college jacket connects the aesthetics of vintage basketball with the more than 10 year heritage of the Goodbois brand.

Here a little overview where which font has been used: The G with roses, “GOOD”, and the woven patch is in Alaca. The Ying Yang patch uses Grand Slang. We selected Council for “World Care” and Neo Contact for “Goodbois”. “Story Slogan” is in Caxton, with its italic chosen for Flower SS21. The informal script is Athena of the Ocean, with a G from Old English.

It always emphasizes a very timeless style for future collections, with different combinations featuring this all-caps design. In the last case it was combined with the trademark symbol.
