An anthology of various unfinished typewriter faces by William Addison Dwiggins, who worked with multiple manufactures including Underwood, Remington Rand, and IBM. While Dossier’s upright styles are derived from a drawing of a monospaced lowercase for an unknown client, the italic is based on Dwiggins’s Aldine for Underwood. In addition to the monospaced default with 3 units for each glyph, Omagari added alternates in the same way Dwiggins devised, with 2 units for narrow glyphs and 4 units for wides ones. These semi-proportional metrics can be accessed via Stylistic Set 1. Comes in 8 weights plus italics.
