Designed in-house at Flinsch, cut by William Kirkwood, and issued in 1882. [Fr. Bauer, 1928] Sold in 1926 by Bauer, AG für Schriftgießerei u. M., and Klingspor. Bauer additionally had a halbfett with wider proportions [Wetzig 1926–40]. Shown as Renaissance-Kanzlei (Flinsch) in the first edition of Wetzig’s Ausgewählte Druckschriften. There are considerable differences across the sizes. The sample shows the Doppelmittel (28pt) size.
Gerhard Helzel has a digitization of the 28pt size as Renaissance-Kanzlei.
