An all-caps photo typeface shown in Lettergraphics’ 1968 catalog as Hoffman Caps. Used already in 1967. Based on an untitled capital alphabet shown in the second edition of Strong’s Book of Designs (1917).

Digital interpretations include Hoffmann (Richard W. Mueller, 1993, used for sample), Blackbeard (Kalynn Campbell, 2000), and Harbinger (Scriptorium, 2003).
