Albra Book from Ultra Kuhl is used together with Messapia Bold and Coconat Bold Extended by Collletttivo in They That Do’s identity for Seedfolk, inspired by vintage botanicals and vegetable wood carvings. With an earthy look for the home startup, the studio set out to connect people with the colourful joys of growing their own. The website additionally uses Grilli Type’s GT Walsheim.

Inspired by the shift in a desire to be outdoors and connecting with nature in the tough and isolating times of national lockdowns, Seedfolk was born out of a moment when many had time to slow down and reflect on the smaller things – in Gemma’s case this was growing veggies in her own back garden. The seed subscription and grow club started from Gemma’s own family’s journey with gardening and her desire to share this joy with others. “I thought this was a wonderful story and ultimately it's where the name came from – folk coming together to grow from the humble seed”, shares Vincent.

Machouiller le feu du cosmos (“Chewing the fire of the cosmos”) is a book by Adèle Verlinden, which contains pen and ink drawings made by the artist between 2022 and 2024.
It was published by Éditions FP&CF in Nantes, France, in 2024. The graphic design of the book was made by the studio Super Terrain.

Coconat (designed by Sara Lavazza) is used in Demi style and all caps throughout the book. On the cover and the first page, the text has a contoured effect, while the last page featuring the colophon is used without the contours.

Cover art for the latest single “Paratiis” by La Mikael featuring Saketti. The idea of this cover was to transform the look of Rembrandt or other painters into a modern rap cover like Tyler’s Flower Boy. The goats depicted are often colloquially referred to as the “greatest of all time” which, as in this painting-like image, also represents Paradise as the best imagination of all time.

Bavicka takes over the headline and decorates the cover with a nostalgic look. For the names Coconat was picked, a font with a more modern but classic look.

Fragmented Narratives was held at alpha nova & galeria futura, Berlin, 2020. The exhibition shows two new research-based works by Sharon Paz and Elianna Renner. In their works, both artists deal with history and historical narrative and their omissions. These partially biographical approaches focus on Jewish history, anti-Semitism and racism.

Sharon Paz’s Dare to Dream is an interactive video installation that positions the viewer between reality and fiction. Based on research about the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin, the work is dedicated to two women: the German-Jewish high jumper Gretel Bergmann and Leni Riefenstahl, producer of propaganda films during the Nazi era. Paz transfers their stories with fictional characters into the present. The visitor can actively participate in the development of different storylines through choosing different response options offered by the interactive video. This also raises the question of who has the hegemony over historiography and the culture of memory.

For the posters and exhibition publications, design studio Operative Space made a brillant and eclectic use of the Massilia family alongside Coconat.
