The smallest of three optical sizes in the Case series, intended for small text. Distinguished from Case by wider spacing, a larger x-height, a tailed ‘l’, and bigger apertures. Compared to Case Text, Case Micro has greater contrast, less ambiguous forms with semi-serifs for ‘r i j’ and wider ones for ‘f t’.

First released in Oct. 2020. Version 2 (June 2023) extends the weight range from four to twelve, in upright and italic. It adds support for Cyrillic, Greek, Vietnamese, and African-Latin characters as well as a new unicase function (OpenType Feature Stylistic Set 2).
