An unusual type style offered at least as early as 1838 by Nesbitt. Utilizes a folded zig-zag effect similar to its slab-serif sibling Antique Grotesque (also from Nesbitt). Figgins later offered a metal type equivalent as Zig-Zag. [Gray] See also Broken Back by Starr (before 1907).
