Liane was issued by Schelter & Giesecke in 1906, followed by a bolder and wider halbfett in 1909. [Reichardt 2011] The latter was amended in 1910 with alternate gotisch caps. [Wetzig 1926–40]

The halbfett was digitized by Oliver Weiss as WF Liane Semi-Bold (used for sample), complete with the alternate caps. Released in Dec. 2020 as part of Walden Font Co.’s Art Nouveau Print Shop Vol. 1.
