Murillo is a solid style that can be combined with
the open and shaded Plantin, resulting in a bicolor
set named Donatello.
Aldo Manutio is Murillo with fancy forms
for several characters (aehnrABDEFHJLMNRUW). It can be combined
with the open and shaded Virgil, resulting in a
bicolor set named Tintoretto.
Designed in-house at Schelter
& Giesecke in 1897 [Wetzig 1926–40] Note that Seemann
accidentally shows Murillo as Aldo
Manutio, Aldo Manutio as
Ratisbona, and Ratisbona as

Preceded by Bramante / Buanarroti (1894), a shaded
variant with hatched fill.
Murillo was also sold by Enschedé as Versierde Schrift Serie 9
(before 1902) and by Urania as
Estienne (before 1908, later by
Augusta)

Ralph Unger digitized Murillo [sic!] as Aldo Manuzio (RMU, 2017, “redrawn, extended and redesigned for modern usage”) and Aldo Manutio as Tintoretto Fill (Profonts, 2006). Despite some differences, these two digital fonts are used for the sample.
