The Scientific and Technical Information Exchange (STIX) project is focused on preparing fonts for technical publishing, with advanced typographic functionality for mathematic, medical, and scientific typesetting.

The original STIX fonts, based on Times Roman, were superseded by STIX Two in 2016.
