It uses the same capitals as Cloister and has the same small x-height with long ascenders and descenders, but otherwise is quite different, with much less formality. Notice the alternate characters and the double letters including overhanging ‘f’s.” [McGrew] Cromwell appears in ATF’s 1917 and 1923 catalogs, after which it appears to have been discontinued.
