A color font based on a lettering alphabet by Erich Mollowitz. It was featured in the book Moderne Vindusreklame, an instructional book on window decoration written by chief decorator Knut Schjofstad in 1933. The alphabet was used at Oslo’s vocational school for commerce, thereby finding its way to a few shop fronts in Oslo. In addition to the color font, Funksjon is available in Solid, Open, Natt and Dag styles. The latter two are half solid. [Båtevik]
