The newly redesigned website of director Martin Romanella is a finely tuned stage for his cinematic vision—a digital space where typography, like his filmmaking, strikes a balance between precision and expressive flair. This relaunch features two Skriftkompani typefaces: Store Norske Ja Mono and Store Norske Jazz, underscoring Romanella’s commitment to storytelling through form and function.

The website features the Light cut of Store Norske Ja Mono and the Medium cut of Store Norske Jazz, an unusual and interesting pairing that immediately draws attention. Ja Mono brings clarity and order, reflecting Romanella’s disciplined approach, while Jazz adds warmth and improvisational energy, echoing the emotional range in his work.

The softcover (with flaps) is printed in Pantone neon green, with the title set in Baskerville Display PT.

Streif av fellesskap (“A touch of community”) is an anthology published by MUNCH Publishing, the editorial branch of Oslo’s Munchmuseet, in connection with the interdisciplinary festival Tekst på MUNCH, vol. 2: Former for fællskap.

The book was published in November 2023, with text contributions by Priya Bains, Oliver Lovrenski, Bjørn Hatterud, Lars Korff Lofthus, Rochelle Roberts, Glenn Bech, Daniel Mariblanca, 71BODIES, Ida Helene Benonisen, Asha Abdullahi, Brynjulf Jung Tjønn and Ihra Lill Scharning.

The typography features a range of typefaces, see the captions. In addition to the fonts shown in the images, there is also Adobe Garamond, Helvetica, Galliard, and Futura.

EY Doberman has redesigned the website and brand identity for business management company Etna AS. The typeface used is the medium cut of Store Norske Jazz from Skriftkompani.

An uncompromising blue color palette reinforces the concept of all your blue things – a clean structured layout evoking control and professionalism combined with casual, snapshot-style photography to balance the formal elements.

Feed Oslo have designed a small identity and website for tattoo removal studio Ombestem, using the black cut of Store Norske Jazz from Skriftkompani. Description from their Instagram post:

Ombestem (“Change of mind” in Norwegian) is a brand that communicates moderate self-confidence. The name itself does not hide the fact that the treatment is a change of mind, and that it is okay to change your mind. We wanted to communicate this reassurance through a clear identity that does not sugarcoat the truth, but rather embraces it.

The typeface used as a core element of the identity is Store Norske Jazz. The typography is meant to be a direct reference to late 70s cultural elements, where tattoos are a central symbol of raw individualism and self-expression. The idea is to associate the clinic with a contemporary graphic style linked to tattooing and at the same time honour the underground subcultures that it belongs to. The photography captures skin where a tattoo is no longer present, and this imagery together with the graphic direction aims to distinguish Ombestem from other clinics that prioritize and promote cosmetic treatments.

Etna AS has redesigned their website using the medium cut of Store Norske Jazz from Skriftkompani.

Etna offers business management for artists, profiles and performers, management services for smaller companies, and consultancy services.

Karolina Pietrzyk has designed the catalog for One / Them, a double exhibition with works by Iza Tarasewicz and Zuza Golińska, curated by Stanisław Małecki. The catalog received a distinction at the Most Beautiful Polish Books of 2023 in the category Art Catalogs. Typefaces used are KTF Ekran from Kyiv Type Foundry and Store Norske Jazz from Skriftkompani.

The exhibition took place in the fall of 2023 at the Center of Polish Sculpture in Orońsko, who also published the catalog.

Goya and Munch. Modern Prophecies / Goya og Munch. Moderne profetier is a book published by the Munch Museum in Oslo. It is designed by Øystein Arbo studio. Website for landscape architecture studio En-Dehors, launched by Arnaud Michelet and Romain Legros. Their website was designed by Marianne Plano. The typeface used is Store Norske Jazz. The Book and Book italic cuts are used for the general website, while the logo is set in the Black style. The website has a nice feature where you can mix different images, from the progress and final result, in juxtaposition.
