Columna

An open version of Roman inscriptional caps, similar to Van Krimpen’s Open Kapitalen. Comes with numerals and punctuation, but no lowercase. First cast by Bauer in 1952. Alternates for MNR [Schriftenkartei index card] and apparently also Y [1968 use].

Later adapted by VGC, who added a solid style, see Columna Solid.

The only known digitization of the open style is the unsatisfying OPTI Columna (Castcraft, 2006).
