Designed by Ray Cruz and originally available from Schaedler as Swinger, alongside Swinger Shadow. [Schaedler c.1970] VGC had a knockoff named Zinger [Schaedler Newsletter, Oct. 1973]. Shown by Typeshop as Quirinus, together with a shaded variant named Sherlocks Ghost. [Typeshop 1973] and by Formatt as Carnaby [Formatt 1974]. Lettering Inc. had a close copy called Tuba in regular and italic.
