The Reflected Self: Portrait Miniatures, 1540–1850 examines the functions of portrait miniatures through the centuries, from those held in the hand of Queen Elizabeth I to their eclipse by the invention of photography.

Curated by Compton Verney and The Limner Company. The 3D exhibition design is by Ali Brown. Photography by Simon Bevan. Badrock Design is responsible for the identity, typography and 2D design.

100 years after the first edition of James Joyce’s Ulysses was published, the Museum Strauhof pays tribute to this masterpiece with an exhibition: Ulysses von 100 Seiten (Seiten can translate to both “sides” and “pages”). 100 exhibits on show help visitors to understand the turmoil and corners of Ulysses and guide them piece by piece through the exhibition. The exhibition and its accompanying publication use NN Didot Modern and LL Circular.
