Bitstream’s digital interpretation of Cooper is a regularized four-weight family presumably extending from Cooper Black rather than directly reviving the original Cooper roman and italic.
Cooper BT Black omits the strongly angled bottom serifs on the ‘p’ and ‘q’, while Cooper BT Headline is closer to the original. Uses of the Black/Headline weights are sorted under Cooper Black.
The Cyrillic version was developed for ParaType in 2000 by Manvel Shmavonyan and is based on TM Oswald (TypeMarket, 1996) by Victoria Grigorenko. [ParaType/MyFonts]
