Folded poster/brochure printed for the promotion of the film series Counter Acts: Type and Lettering on Film and Video screened in June 2023 at Spectacle, a collectively run microcinema in Brooklyn. The series features seven films across three programs about type design and lettering, and their intertwined relationship with technology and labor.

Designed by Type Syndicate, the poster—like the films in the series—takes a documentary approach by highlighting type technologies of the past through illustrations selected from various books.

The film series is sponsored by Order Type Foundry, who also provided the typeface Plebeian.

Plebeian Black and Regular Italic designed by Benjamin Tuttle are used for the portfolio website and business cards of Dawson Redmond, a writer and filmmaker based in Portland, Oregon.

Graphics designed by Emily Klaebe, and printed by U.K. printing studio Jot Press.
