First released in 1981 by Letraset. The bold weight arrived in 1986. One of the few Letraset fonts to offer a bundle of ligatures with different forms for smoother connections.

Several digital versions available; Adobe’s lacks proper connections and the Bold weight. URW++ used to have a version named URW Fresnel (1996).
